Joe Hendry was triumphant in his TNA homecoming after three months, as he defeated Moose and Cedric Alexander in a Triple Threat Match at Genesis 2026.
Moose had an early injury scare in the initial stages of the match when Hendry hit him with a thudding back body drop onto the steel steps. This prompted TNA President Carlos Silva and medical officials to come out to check on him.
However, he eventually returned to the ring, hitting Alexander with Go To Hell for a near pinfall. Later, Alexander spiked Hendry via a Death Valley Driver and then locked in the Crossface, but Moose prevented the WWE star from tapping out.
The closing moments of the match saw Alexander take out Moose with his signature Lumbar Check, only to be taken down by Hendry via the Standing Ovation for a pinfall victory.
