Chad Gable Explains Why Gunther Is His Wrestling Soulmate

Chad Gable named Gunther as his “wrestling soulmate” in a recently interview, and explained why that’s the case. The WWE star has quite the history with the Career Killer, having feuded with him over the Intercontinental Championship in 2023. The three faced off three times, with Gunther picking two of the three wins.

Gable appeared on KFAN for a new interview and during the conversation, he was asked by Maxx Fuller who his wrestling soulmate is. Gable named his former rival and explained why.

“Gunther, so far,” Gable said (courtesy of Fightful). “From the first match, we could have never talked about anything and we just — we were meant for each other, I think.”

Gable is set to challenge Penta for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam, while Gunther is set to team with Sami Zayn against Cody Rhodes and CM Punk at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend.
