Chelsea Green Volunteers To Take Over As NXT General Manager

Chelsea Green says she’s willing to take on the role of NXT General Manager after Ava’s exit from WWE. As noted, Ava announced over the weekend that she was exiting WWE and finished up her duties on last week’s episode of WWE NXT. That leaves the brand without a General Manager at the moment.
Enter Green, who says that she’s willing to take the gig. Green posted on Twitter to volunteer her services, writing:
“Hey @WWENXT
I’ll be your new GM. I know a thing or two about running a continent… How hard can one little company be.”
Green is the former two-time WWE Women’s United States Champion and current AAA Mixed Tag Team Champion with Ethan Page. She has made appearances in NXT, many of them as part of her alliance with Page. The two feuded briefly with Tavion Heights and Tyra Mae Steele last year, defeating the two in a mixed tag team match at NXT Heatwave.
As of now, there’s no word on who if anyone will take on the General Manager role following Ava’s exit. WWE has yet to announce any such development for this week’s episode, which takes place on Tuesday and airs live on The CW and Netflix internationally.
