Cody Rhodes Says He’ll Beat Anyone Who Tries To Become the Tribal Chief

Cody Rhodes says he plans on defeating Solo Sikoa at WWE SummerSlam and will do the same to anyone else who tries to become the Tribal Chief. Rhodes defends his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Sikoa at the PPV this weekend, and he spoke with ESPN’s Get Up about his continued rivalry with The Bloodline.

“Well, this weekend, SummerSlam is one of WWE’s big four PLE pay-per-view events,” Rhodes said (per Fightful). “This, hopefully, in an entertaining way, is a bit of a repeat of what we got at WrestleMania, which was the biggest show in wrestling history.”

He continued, “I defeated The Tribal Chief, the True Tribal Chief, that being Roman Reigns. I look to defeat the pretender, Solo Sokoa, at SummerSlam. If you’re also someone in The Bloodline, perhaps named The Rock, we’ll be watching because if you claim The Tribal Chief mantle next, same thing will happen to you.”

SummerSlam takes place on Saturday and airs live on Peacock and WWE Network.
