Colby Corino Re-Signs With NWA In Multi-Year Deal

Colby Corino is sticking with the NWA, signing a new multi-year contract with the company. The NWA announced on Monday (via Fightful) that Corino has signed a new deal with the company.

Corino’s previous contract with the NWA expired at the start of the year. Both AEW and WWE were reported to have interest in him.

Corino has been out of action since he underwent spinal surgery in August 2025 and last competed at AML Battle Scars 2025 on July 27th. He returned to NWA TV on December 9th, noting that he was not cleared yet but would be returning to the ring once he is. He noted, per the NWA’s press release:

“Just because I’m broken now doesn’t mean I won’t come back stronger, smarter and better than ever to fulfill my destiny. That’s to win the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship!”

Corino is the son of Steve Corino and a former NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion.

The announcement also noted that Corino will appear at the double taping of NWA Powerrr on February 21sth in Tampa, Florida at WEDU PBS Studios.
