OFFICIAL RESULTS
– Grado defeated Rohit Raju @ 5:00 via pin [**]
From TNA Slammiversary 2013: Kurt Angle defeated AJ Styles @ 15:50 via pin [***¾]
From Impact: Redefined – Knockouts Title Match Tessa Blanchard defeated Allie & Champion Su Yung @ 6:30 via pin [**½]

– Follow all of my reviews at this link.

Rohit Raju vs. Grado: Katarina is out with Grado. Grado wants to dance, but Raju wants no part of this and attacks. Grado fights him off, hits a backdrop and jabs until Raju powders. Raju runs, Grado chases and gasses out. Raju catches him and lay sin chops as we work back in the ring. Grado lays in some jabs again until Raju sweeps the leg. Raju now lays the boots to Grado, and then grounds the action. The neck breaker follows and then forearm strikes and a running knee connect for 2. Raju again grounds things, but Grado fires back and connects with chops and an atomic drop. The elbow and cannonball connect and that’s that. Grado defeated Rohit Raju @ 5:00 via pin [**] This was ok for the time given and I was glad it didn’t go any longer as this was rather boring.

We go around the ring with KM. KM talks about doing some commercials and acting, which he enjoys. KM talks about his team with Fallah Bahh and says that they are friends, and have known each other for around 13-years. KM love watching things on Netflix & Hulu these days. He doesn’t watch a lot of wrestling these days, but watches a lot of MMA. He does love traveling for wrestling and never worked in Canada until his time in Impact. He says that they changed his name in Impact to KM because they didn’t want to have another Mathews. He has a ferret named Dexter.

Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles: Slow start here as AJ teases shooting in for takedowns. He also faints some leg kicks to the injured leg of Angle. They go to the floor, rights and chops by AJ and then back in and hits a baseball slide dropkick to Angle. Corner forearm shot by AJ, Angle back with rights, off the ropes and a boot by AJ. Tilt a whirl back breaker by Angle, and more rights follow. Off the ropes and a high backdrop by Angle. AJ back with leg kicks to the injured leg of Angle. To the apron, right by Angle and then AJ springboards in with a dropkick to the bad leg of Angle. AJ back to the leg kicks and some forearm shots as well. Angle back with rights, off the ropes and AJ slides into his new submission hold (calf killer), but Angle gets the ropes. AJ back to the leg kicks, and then connects with the standing dropkick. AJ now works a single leg crab to ground Angle. Angle rolls and counters with an ankle lock but AJ immediately gets the ropes. Big clothesline by Angle, and both men are down. To their feet, uppercuts by Angle follows. They trade rights, more kicks by AJ, and they trade rights again. Clotheslines by Angle, overhead throw connects for Angle and he covers for 2. Angle slam countered, but Angle back with another overhead throw and a cover gets 2. AJ kicks Angle away, and then gets a spinebuster, and then the lionsault and covers for 2. Angle battles back, looks for a German, and gets it. Rolls for the second and it connects. He then rolls for the third, AJ out as he gets the ropes and stun guns Angle. Slingshot back splash by AJ and a cover gets 2. AJ heads up top, Angle up and runs up and gets a release German, AJ lands on his feet and runs into an overhead toss into the buckles! JESUS. They trade shots, AJ with the leg kicks, and then a spinning back fist to Angle. AJ springs in, kicked on the way down, Angle slam connects! 1…2..NO! STRAPS ARE DOWN and Angle gets the ankle lock. AJ escapes, Angle back at him but AJ rolls into the calf killer! Angle then counters into the ankle lock again! AJ looks for the ropes, but Angle pulls him back and grapevines the leg! AJ kicks at Angle’s knee and escapes. Angle charges and misses AJ, slamming into the post. AJ then sets Angle up top and puts him in the tree of woe. Charging dropkick by AJ connects, and then gets a back breaker and heads to the apron. Springboard 450 MISSES. Angle with the roll up for 2. AJ counters the Angle slam, but Angle counters and stacks up AJ with a roll up and gets the win. Kurt Angle defeated AJ Styles @ 15:50 via pin [***¾] This was an overall very, very good match and another fitting installment in their TNA history, even if it wasn’t up to the standards of some of the truly great matches they had in the past. Styles was introducing the calf killer here, and it would have really meant more if he had won with it especially with the story being that Angle’s leg was injured. The only major issue I had here is that Angle really shouldn’t have won here.

Knockouts Title Match: Champion Su Yung vs. Allie vs. Tessa Blanchard: Yung is out with her undead bridesmaids. They brawl at the bell; Allie hits a back stabber on Tessa and dropkick on Yung. The senton follows and then corner clotheslines connect to both and a cover gets 2. Allie works over Yung in the corner, but Yung cuts her off with strikes and then attacks Tessa. Allie knocks Yung onto the bridesmaids, and maintains control until Tessa hits a cutter on Allie for 2. She locks on a figure four variation, but Yung arrives and locks on an arm bar on Tessa. Allie finally makes the ropes for the break. Allie now works over Yung with chops and strikes, but Yung head scissors her to the buckles. Yung heads up top and Tessa cuts her off and press slams her onto the bridesmaids. Allie attacks, laying in chops and strikes, and then clotheslines. The suplex to he buckles follows for 2.Tessa cuts off Allie and then runs into a superkick. Yung in with the mandible claw on Tessa but Allie makes the save. Yung gets the mandible claw on Allie, Allie escapes, and Tessa rolls up Allie for the win and title. Tessa Blanchard defeated Allie & Champion Su Yung @ 6:30 via pin [**½] This was rushed and a bit clunky, but solid overall. It needed more time and a better built to finish. Yung’s run was uneventful and Tessa has more potential as a heel champion in the long run.

– End Scene.

– Thanks for reading.
