Sorry for the delay this week, dad stuff came up last night.

– We get a video package on the Itami vs. Ohno feud.

Cezar Bononi vs. Andrade “Cien Almas w/Zelina Vega: Bononi upset Almas several weeks ago, which was part of his tailspin prior to the arrival of his business associate Zelina Vega, who has focused Almas and put him on the right track. Vega joins commentary; she doesn’t give a shit about Cole, O’Reilly and Fish as long as they stay out of her business. Almas lays in chops early, hitting a back elbow and dropkick. Bononi fires back, hitting clotheslines and chops. The atomic drop and dropkick follows. Bononi gets a small package, but Almas kicks out. Almas then jacks his fucking jaw with a back elbow and then works him over in the corner. Vega demands that Almas finish it, and he hits the hammerlock DDT (that needs a cool name) and Bononi is done. Andrade “Cien” Almas defeated Cezar Bononi @ 2:50 via pin [NR] A fine little squash to continue Almas’ revenge and continue his momentum.

– We see highlights of Cole, O’Reilly and Fish jumping McIntyre last week.

– We get comments from angry dad William Regal, who says Cole, O’Reilly and Fish have been told no more attacks, because the fighting will only happen in the ring.

– Velveteen Dream interrupts Christy backstage. He is compelled to speak… soon, very soon.

Lars Sullivan vs. Johnny, Jimmy, & Joey Boots & Tights: Johnny, Jimmy, & Joey Boots & Tights are all former partners that Sullivan destroyed in the past. Sullivan wants all three in at once, no tag team bullshit. LARS SMASH at the bell. He starts to toss bodies around with ease, looking as if he’s having fun. He starts to slam them together, hits corner splashes and hits slams and the picks up the win. Lars Sullivan defeated Johnny, Jimmy, & Joey Boots & Tights @ 1:40 via pin [NR] Lars Smash, Larry Enjoy.

– Post match, Lars kicks more ass and No Way Jose arrives to make the save and get some revenge. Jose tries to talk with him, and attacks; LARS HATE DANCING AND KILLS LITTLE CONGA MAN!

– We see Johnny Gargano at the Performance Center. Takeover was cool, even though he lost. He says he lost focus, it was his fault and he owns that. Sabbatelli & Moss arrive and take credit for breaking up DIY. Gargano will face one of them next week. He doesn’t care who he faces.

– We get a Sonya Deville video package.

– We see footage of Cole, O’Reilly and Fish laying out Sanity last week. Sanity sent in a video package, with Young telling them that they made a huge mistake. They only care about chaos.

Sonya Deville vs. Zeda: Deville immediately takes Zeda down, they work into some counters and Deville takes her to the mat again. Zeda fires back, but gets speared down. Zeda to the floor, Deville rolls her back in; hits a roundhouse kick and locks in the triangle for the win. Sonya Deville defeated Zeda @ 1:41 via submission [NR] A dominating win for Sonya Deville, which is good. I still think she needs work, but has a ton of potential. Zeda sells well and has a good presence in the ring considering her lack of experience.

– At the PC, we see Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch training together (they are going to be ass kicking friends now!). Ruby Riot meets with Regal, and she wants a handicap match against Kay & Royce so that she can prove herself. Regal says he can’t do that, but if she finds a tag team partner and she can have a tag match with them.

NO DQ Match: Kassius Ohno vs. Hideo Itami: Itami bails to the floor and tries to stall, but Ohno brings him in and works him over, and hits a big leg drop. Ohno follows with chops, hits a suplex covers for 2. Ohno lays in some kicks to the head of Itami, Itami then sends him to the apron and posts Ohno, sending him to the floor. Back in and Itami lays in kicks to Ohno, just beating him down in the corner. The hesitation dropkick follows, and Itami covers for 2. Itami to the floor, slides a chair in and Ohno tries to stop him. Ohno tosses the chair at Itami, goes for a rolling elbow but Itami uses the chair to block it and Ohno is down. Post break, Itami kicks away at Ohno, who challenges him to do it some more. Ohno fires up, hits the axe bomber, shining wizard and senton. Itami goes back to attack the arm, but Ohno counters the GTS and hits the rolling elbow and Itami rolls to the floor. Ohno follows him to the floor, lays the boots to him and the crowd wants tables. They don’t get them, but Itami gets elbows. Itami manages to hit a fisherman’s suplex on the ramp and takes Ohno back to the ring. Back in and lays the boots to Ohno, lays the chair on his face and hits the hesitation dropkick to the chair and that gets a good near fall. Itami demands respect, yelling at the crowd. Ohno tries to fire up, Itami looks for a low blow but Ohno blocked it. Ohno then hits a HUGE low blow (Itami’s sell was amazing); Ohno hits the rolling elbow and gets the pin and revenge. Kassius Ohno defeated Hideo Itami @ 9:22 via pin [***] This was a good match, with Ohno using the stipulation to his advantage to not only get the win but also his revenge.

So Long Asuka: William Regal is in the ring and brings Asuka out. She discusses her time in NXT, and she’s faced great opponents. She loves NXT and is grateful for her time here. Regal says she has been one of the best champions in WWE history, defending the title with honor. But others have noticed as well. They have started negotiations with Raw and Smackdown, which is bitter sweet because Asuka will be stepping down as NXT women’s champion. The rest of the world will learn that no one is ready for Asuka. All the women come out (along with the rest of the NXT roster) as we get “thank you Asuka” chants. She gets big Asuka chants as she says the fans are NXT, she is NXT and wherever she goes, NXT goes with her. Ember Moon arrives and enters the ring. She fakes the handshake like Asuka previously did to her, and then they hug. Moon raises her hand as they cry and embrace. Triple H now arrives and has flowers and a hug for Asuka. Triple H announces Asuka as the undefeated NXT Women’s champion one last time. This was a really good segment, we can argue all day if she should have dropped the title, but I feel that having a big graduation segment like this where she comes off as a dominant bad ass to the love of the fans is a great way to send her to the main roster. Now we just have to hope that they book her half as well as NXT did.

– End scene.

– Thanks for reading.

The final score: review Good
The 411
This week’s episode of NXT TV was a good show; Almas maintains momentum, Lars killed fools, Deville picked up another win, the main event was good and the Asuka goodbye felt like a special moment. They also announced Johnny vs. either Sabbatelli or Moss, Ruby Riot and a partner vs. the iconic duo and Dunne vs. Wolfgang with the UK title on the line. This was an efficient and enjoyable hour of TV.
