Dominik Mysterio Says Eddie Guerrero Had a Huge Influence On Him

Dominik Mysterio has long joked that Eddie Guerrero is really his father, and he recently acknowledged the late WWE Hall of Famer as a huge influence on him. Dominik was famously part of the Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio feud where his parentage was in question, something he’s made reference to several times since turning heel. During his recent appearance on Impaulsive, he joked that he’s “mostly sure” Rey is his dad but questioned his mother’s fidelity.

“I mean, I don’t know if I identify as Eddie Guerrero being my father, but he definitely had a huge influence,” Dom said. “I question it for sure, I mean, I question my mother at this point. Because I don’t know what’s happening in the ’90s, you know? And apparently, my dad was gone all the time.”

Dominik’s hairstyle and facial hair mimics Guerrero’s iconic look and he uses a number of Guerrero’s mannerisms and moves in the ring.
