Donovan Dijak Claims WWE Quietly Tests Wrestlers For Attitude Problems

Donovan Dijak recently shared new insight into how WWE reportedly assesses talent behind the scenes. He referenced Oba Femi’s early run on Level Up as an example.
Level Up often served as a testing ground for newer talent before they moved into larger NXT storylines. While the show featured developing wrestlers, it also gave WWE staff a closer look at how performers handled different situations.
According to a post on X, Femi went 0-5 on the now-discontinued Level Up show. Those losses came against four wrestlers who have since been released by the company, including Dijak. In response, he explained that WWE sometimes places wrestlers in situations designed to quietly test their attitude and professionalism, especially when the company sees long-term potential in them. Using Oba Femi as the example, Donovan Dijak said the current WWE star handled the situation well.
Dijak wrote, “I don’t even know if this is true or not, but it wouldn’t surprise me. WWE will often quietly test wrestlers to see if they have an attitude problem, especially if they have big plans in store.” He continued, “Oba obviously passed with flying colors. I never heard anything even remotely negative, and he was a pleasure to work with.”
Femi has since become one of WWE’s fastest-rising names, moving from developmental into a more prominent role on the RAW roster. He also retired Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42.
