Eric Young References Leon Slater’s WWE Appearances In TNA Impact Promo

Eric Young took aim at Leon Slater, accusing him of seeking validation from “another company” on this week’s TNA Impact. Thursday night’s episode saw Young appear in a backstage vignette in which he addressed the TNA X-Division Champion.

Young, who has an X-Division Championship match, accused Slater of being a “poser” and an “imposter.” He noted that he will capture the X-Division Championship as part two of his plan to cleanse the company and accused Slater of seeking validation from elsewhere.

Slater has made a number of appearances on WWE television, including teaming with Je’Von Evans at Saturday Night’s Main Event against AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. He also appeared on WWE Smackdown during WWE’s European tour after being unable to make TNA’s Impact premiere on AMC due to visa issues.

There is no word as of when Young will challenge Slater for the TNA X-Division Championship. You can see a clip of the segment below.
