Goldberg Would Love to Face Riddle in the Ring, Says He Still Owes Roman Reigns Some Payback

– During a recent interview with Bleacher Report’s Graham GSM Matthews, WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg spoke on Riddle and their past heat with each other. It was previously reported that the two wrestlers had a backstage altercation at SummerSlam 2019 after Riddle was calling out Goldberg on social media. Later on, it appears the two patched things up.

Goldberg said on Riddle (via WrestlingInc.com), “I think Riddle and I have had a little bit of a controversial past. I’d love to pop him in the face a couple of times.”

He continued on some other possible matchups, including a rematch with Roman Reigns, “But I owe Roman [Reigns] something, for sure. I’d always like to get Brock again, but, you know, hey, beggars can’t be choosers. Hey, if it happens it happens, and if not, I just got to deal with it. I’ll catch them on the street or something.”

At WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 in Saudi Arabia earlier this year, Reigns defeated Goldberg via technical submission in a match for the WWE Universal Championship. Goldberg has not gotten back in the ring since the loss.
