Hangman Page Defeats Powerhouse Hobbs In Falls Count Anywhere Match On AEW Dynamite

Hangman Page pulled out a win in his Falls Count Anywhere match with Powerhouse Hobbs on this week’s AEW Dynamite. Page defeated Hobbs on Wednesday’s Blood & Guts-themed show, surviving domination by Hobbs earlier in the match. He turned things around by sending Hobbs off the commentary table to the floor.

The match went into the crowd, and finally ended when Page sent Hobbs into an electrical table. He pinned the Opps member to get the victory.

It was announced after the match that Page’s bout with Samoa Joe at AEW Full Gear will be a Steel Cage match. Page made the announcement after Katsuyori Shibata and Joe attacked him post-match. HOOK and Eddie Kingston made the save. Page defends the AEW World Championship against Joe at the PPV.

AEW Full Gear takes place on November 22nd from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. It airs live on PPV. We’ll have an updated card for the show following AEW Dynamite’s conclusion. You can see highlights from tonight’s match below.
