SICKOS! It’s Wednesday, you know what that means! AEW Dynamite is LIVE tonight from Greensboro, North Carolina! And tonight is no ordinary episode of Dynamite, no sir, because tonight, it is all about three words, two rings, and one cage…
BLOOD
AND
GUTS!
For the unacquainted, the Blood and Guts setup is somewhat similar to the “what’s old is new again” concept of War Games. Think of WAR GAMES being said in William Bloody Regal’s voice, and it’s set to make it more epic. Now, apply that to BLOOD AND GUTS. Epic, no?
This year, not only will be getting the usual Men’s B&G match, but we will also be getting a Women’s B&G match as well! In addition to that, the Women’s match plans to be more chaotic and have more moving parts than the men’s match based on the fact that there will be six women on both teams, as opposed to five on both Men’s teams.
As for who is involved, well, in the men’s match, we have the unified front of the Death Riders taking on The Conglomeration, Roderick Strong, and Darby Allin. Given that everyone (most especially the Conglomeration and the armaments aligned with them) is opposed to the Death Riders, this match makes a lot of sense and doesn’t feel thrown together just to have a B&G match.
As for the Women’s match, on one side, we will have the Triangle of Madness, Marina Shafir, Megan Bayne, and the holder of every women’s title in the known galaxy save Kris’ title, Mercedes Mone. Standing in opposition of them, we have Jamie Hayter, Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron, TIMELESS Toni Storm, my future Ex-Wife Mina Shirakawa, and the AEW World Women’s Champion Kris Statlander.
Aside from Blood and Guts matches, we will have a Falls Count Anywhere match, pitting the AEW Men’s World Champion Hangman Adam Page against Powerhouse Hobbs. And, although that is all we have seen announced so far officially, I am sure that we will have more in store for us tonight. After all, I have it on good authority that tonight’s show is listed for two and a half hours which, you know, makes sense given the amount of time B&G matches usually get. Plus, clean up and all that fun stuff.
Anyway, how are you fine people tonight? I just watched the third episode of IT: Welcome to Derry because I forgot I had it saved to my list on HBO Max. I’ve also gotten into DMV and Shifting Gears, one because it’s hilarious, and the other because it features Kat Dennings.
So, enough about all of that, let’s get ready to make the Dynamite go BOOM and witness some blood (and perhaps, yes, guts)!

Tonight, Blood and Guts Dynamite is LIVE from Greensboro, North Carolina! Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Bryan Danielson are on the call tonight!
YOU WANTED WAR! How appropriate tonight lol.
The arena has went dark. Justin Roberts says this is the first ever Women’s Blood and Guts! These women continue to make history, kick ass, and I (and you) love it! He runs down the rules for the match. You know the drill, the match doesn’t start until everyone is in the ring. You cannot escape, you have to be submit or surrender. No pin falls will help.
Women’s Blood & Guts Match: The Triangle of Madness, Marina Shafir, Megan Bayne, and Mercedes Mone vs. Jamie Hayter, Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron, TIMELESS Toni Storm, Mina Shirakawa, and Kris Statlander
Skye Blue and Willow Nightingale are starting us off. Both ladies get ready for WAR!
Blue and Nightingale, harnessing weapons, attack one another and keep canceling each other out. Willow switches levels and hammers away on Skye. She takes her to the other ring, rams her head into the corner, and then swings her around by her hair. The guys make jokes about being married and women having their hair up, as Skye tries to run Willow’s face into the cage. She fights it off, Skye fights it off, but Willow overpowers her and slams her face first into the cage. Willow suplexes Blue on the top rope and hits a drive by kick. Doctor Bomb by Willow, as Skye hits the cage face first. POUNCE, PERIOD, and Willow is in complete control early.
Blue is fulfilling the BLOOD part of the namesake, as Willow elbows her in the head. She takes her back to ring one and clotheslines her repeatedly in the corner. Short arm clothesline from Willow. Willow sits Skye on the top rope and goes up top. Skye shows some life and tries to strike Willow. Both ladies jockey for position.
Julia Hart is out next to help her fellow TOM partner. Hart trips up Willow in the corner, and the Sisters of Sin hit a double powerbomb out of the corner. Hart rips the pad off of the top piece of iron behind the turnbuckle and bashes her head into the corner. Hart with the Undertaker rope walk to follow. Hart checks on Blue, who is bleeding out of control, as they check for something in the corner. They instead got to ring two and proceed to double team Willow. Cartwheel clothesline from Blue, and a running back elbow from Hart. They do the double team front suplex and basement SUPERKICKS.
FEEL THE WRATH, as Harley Cameron is here with chair in tow. She chucks it at Blue, and hits a sling blade on Hart. She pounds away on her and shouts FEEL THE WRATH! She hits corner clotheslines to both SOS, but Skye stops her. They try a double team suplex, but Willow helps out and they both suplex Hart and Blue. Hart is set in the Tree of WHOA and Harley hits a dropkick to her. They put a trash can lid on Skye’s midsection, and Willow with the CANNONABLL! PIP Break.
(Again, I say, BOO to breaks during Women’s matches, even if it is bloody and gutsy!)
Skye has a choke on Harley, while Willow hits the POUNCE, PERIOD to Hart as we return from break.
Thekla is out next. Call me crazy (I know I am, but what are YOU), but I feel like this kind of match is best fit for her.
As if on cue, she enters with a crossbody to Willow and a SPEAR to Willow. Thekla takes off her belt and she whips both Willow and Harley with it. Blue and Thekla hit stereo running boots to Harley and Willow.
Jamie Hayter is here to even the odds for her team. She smacks Skye with a bag of tacks! She beats all the TOM members with a kendo stick! Blue stops her momentum, but Hayter gets the last laugh as she hits a double suplex on Hart and Blue. Thekla with a rolling elbow, but Jamie drops Thekla face first into the tacks. Jamie beats all her opponents with the belt that Thekla took off.
Megan Bayne is here, along with Penelope Ford, who is holding a chair. Running knee strike to Hayter. Lariat to Willow. Fallaway Slam on Cameron. Bayne stacks of Harley and Willow and hits a running splash. She brings both ladies to the middle of the ring and hits a suplex as the fans approve. Hayter is back, as she trades strikes with Bayne. Megan picks her up and drops her to the mat. German suplex from Megan follows. Bless Harley, she smacks Megan in the back and it had no effect. So, she tries again, only for Bayne to cut her off, and she suplexes Harley on top of the garbage lid.
The AEW Women’s World Champion is here, as Statlander hits the ring with a pool cue. She goes to top while still wearing her title belt and smashes it over the back of Bayne. She hits the corner and hits a double back elbow to Hart and Blue. She chucks Thekla into the cage and hits a lariat to Bayne. Queen Aminata chases Ford away from ring side. Willow and Kris come face-to-face. They seem like they want to shake hands, but Bayne interrupts that. Kris and Megan come to blows, and female MEAT is going to be dealt. I think? Sure, why not. PIP Break incoming.
(Again, FACK THE BREAKS IN A WOMENS MATCH!)
Harley is climbing the cage as Megan tries to catch her as we return. Harley with a crossbody from the top, taking our three of her opponents.
C-E-O Ultimo Mone is here. I’m so glad she is dressed for the occasion lol. Mone finally gets into the ring after having some champaign. She hits a head scissors to Harley, but Kris snatches her up and sits her in the corner. Statlander looking for Staturday Night Fever onto her title belt, but Mone sneaks out the back and hits a front Russian Leg Sweep on Kris. Mone has left the ring, as she is putting all of her title belts in the ring.
Well, shit, we’re not going to have room for ANYONE or ANYTHING else with all of that gold in there. She hands the title belts out to her teammates like they are participation trophies lol. The bad girls proceed to whip the good girls with said title belts.
The love of my life and future Ex-Wife Mina Shirakawa is here next! She has herself a baseball bat, as she gently hits Thekla in the ass with it. She throws it to Bayne, and she dropkicks her. She grabs Mone’s hand, goes to the top, and hits an arm drag. Hart and Mone try to double team her, but Mina kicks Hart away and snaps off a Rana on Mone. Mone takes Mina to the corner and pounds away on her.
YOU GOT 99 ANSWERS BUT THERE’S ONLY ONE PROBLEM! Marina Shafir is here as the sixth and final member of her team. Shafir enters the cage and goes right after Statlander. She drags Kris out of the cage and onto the floor. Shafir whips Kris into the barricade and goes under the side of the barricade. She drags out a bed of nails! Kris jumps on her back, but Marina fights her off and throws her on top of the nails.
FLAWLESS…VICTORY!
Marina removes her boots and socks as she re-enters the ring. TIMELESS and even crazier Toni Storm is here as the last member of her team, as the bell rings, and the cage is locked! She has a fistful of pearls! She smacks Bayne, Hart, and Thekla with them. She smacks Marina, but Shafir doesn’t feel it.
Everyone squares off with an opponent and, remember, this can only end with submission or surrender. Storm has a bucket, she has broken glass on her hands! She jabs Marina with it! Double hip attack by the Love Bombs to Marina and then Megan! Mina and Toni hit a double team DDT to Megan as we head for ANOTHER PIP Break.
(Again, this thing about commercials during a women’s match!)
Hayter and Blue have climbed the cage, and Hayter hammers her head into the cage as we return. She puts Blue onto a table that is set up, and she splashes her through the table! Willow with (kind of a) POUNCE, PERIOD on Thekla and Hart. Mina with a tornado DDT to Bayne. Marina clobbers her with one of the titles from the Mone collection. Mone hits the Bank Statement on Mina. Harley has Puppet Mone! Mone takes it away, but Harley has brass knuckles! She punches Mone in the chest. Hart attacks her from behind, as Hart and Thekla climb out of the cage and to the floor. Hart demands that Mike Posey give them the key, and Thekla with a SPEAR to Posey! Hart opens the cage, as the bad girls proceed to throw their opponents out and to the floor.
Thekla with a double SPEAR to Harley and Willow on the floor. The cage door gets slammed into the head of Bayne. Mone and Statlander climb the truss at cage side. SAMOAN DROP BY STATLANDER, DRIVING MONE AND HERSELF THROUGH THE TABLE AND BELTS AT RING SIDE! Hart and Thekla re-enter the ring and lock the cage again, leaving every woman who left the ring outside the ring. Storm spreads the rest of the broken glass from the champaign. DOUBLE DDT BY MINA AND TONI TO MARINA! Storm sets a mirror in front of Marina, she looks for the rear view. MARINA THROWS THE MIRROR INTO THE HEAD OF TONI! HOLY SHIT!
Willow with a suplex to Megan! MINA IS LOOKING CRAZY! SHE WRAPS THE BARBWIRE BAT AROUND THE KNEE OF BAYNE AND APPLIES THE FIGURE FOUR! Marina stomps on the broken glass and stomps on the ample chest of Mina. The TOM restrain Storm, as Marina has Mina in a choke, as Megan whips Mina with a title belt. Toni Storm surrenders the match!
WINNER: The Triangle of Madness, Megan Bayne, Marina Shafir, and Mercedes Mone
TIME: 46:00
THOUGHTS: Usually viewed as a men’s kind of match, the women said, “Hold our collective beers”, and went out and did more insane shit than the men could ever think/dream of. Crazy spots, some creativeness, and a lot of blood and weapons. Also, the ending plays in to not just the upcoming Bayne/Shafir and Mina/Toni match, but Toni giving up the match for her team to try and save Mina plays into their love angle. A great match and a gusty (no pun intended) by the women.
RATING: ****1/4
Post-match, the heels continue the beatdown of Mina, as Toni tries to cover her up and protect her. Aubrey Edwards admonishes Marina and, surprisingly, Shafir did NOT knock her out again. The heels celebrate heading up the ramp, as Mina gets helped to her feet.
Video package for the Hobbs and Page match later tonight.
COMMERCIALS!
We see a brawl between members of the Don Callis Family and the Jurassic Express. After they are subdued, The Young Bucks, Kazuchika Okada, and Don Callis emerge from their trailer. Alexander says this is what happens when you cross their family. Okada taps the “watch” on his wrist and tells the Bucks its decision time!
Drum beat…The Champ is Here! Drum Beat…repeat!
Falls Count Anywhere Match: Hangman Adam Page vs. Powerhouse Hobbs
Hobbs rips a turnbuckle pad off in ring two as the bell rings. Not content to be outdone, Page also rips one off out of spite. Both men slug it out. Hobbs pick up Page, he goes to throw him into one of the exposed corners, but he escapes, and they struggle for control. Page catches Hobbs with a boot and a low bridge. Hangman with his corner lariat from ring two to ring one. Page hits another corner lariat. He leaps over Hobbs on the third attempt, and Hobbs hits a big lariat.
Page rolls out of the ring and to the floor, as Hobbs ripped the wrap off the midsection of the champion. He rams Page into the barricade as a girl chants HOLY SHIT! He does it again into the apron and throws Page into the ring. Hobbs turns around to look into the crowd, but Page with a tope to the back of Hobbs! Page with some offense, but one knee to the midsection cancels that out. Hobbs runs Page face first into the ring post and then slams him into the barricade. Hobbs moves the ring steps and sets Page against them. Hobbs charges in, but Page moves, and Hobbs goes PLOP.
Hangman jumps off the steps and into the arms of Hobbs like a fair catch on a punt. He slams Page into the ring apron and into the announcer’s table. Hobbs tells Schiavone this is all his fault, as he walks up the steps with Page. HOBBS WITH THE WORLD’S DANGEROUS SLAM ONTO THE RING STEPS! Hobbs goes back to talk more mad shit to Tony as we hit PIP Break.
Hobbs with an Oklahoma Stampede to Page for a two count as we return from break. Hobbs sends Page from the ring, says I TOLD YOU, then walks over the announcer’s table. He removes the top and climbs on top of it with Page. Hobbs takes WAY too long, and Page back drops Hobbs off the table and to the floor. Page tries to psyche himself up, as he runs and clotheslines Hobbs into the crowd! They fight up the steps, as Page hits ten punches. He grabs a beer from a willing fan and hits the Orihara moonsault from atop the balcony!
Page with a lariat, but Hobbs is still on his feet. Page looking for Deadeye, but Hobbs sneaks out the back door. Page hits him with a trash can, but he charges into Hobbs, and he hits a spinebuster through a table! Hobbs pulls his straps down , and he drags Page up the step. Hobbs thinking World’s Most Dangerous Slam, but Page escapes that. Hobbs is hanging precariously over the rail. Hangman takes his boot off. HE CHARGES FORWARD AND HITS HOBBS WITH IT, AS HOBBS CRASHES DOWN INTO THE EQUIPMENT BOX! The lights flicker on and off as a result of this, as Page goes down to ground level. He pins Hobbs to win the match.
WINNER: Hangman Adam Page
TIME: 14:10
THOUGHTS: Funny to think that a match like this could be considered a “cool down” match after the chaos that unfolded with the Women’s B&G war, but that kind of felt like it. And it’s not the fault of the men in this match, per se, they had a tough guy brawl all around the arena. Hangman won, as he should, and he got his ass kicked, like Hobbs would do.
RATING: ***1/2
Post-match, Katsuyori Shibata arrives to attack Page! Joe is here as well with a chair, as they beat up Page. Joe looks at the cage, and it starts to lower. Before it can, Eddie Kingston arrives to do battle with Shibata! HOOK is here! Eddie and HOOK get into the ring, as Shibata and Joe escape and the cage sets. Page gets a mic. Samoa Joe, if you wanted me in a steel cage, all you had to do was ask, you dumbass. So, at Full Gear, leave Shibata at home, and leave Hobbs in the hospital, because it will be you and me inside a steel cage for my title!
Joe is beside himself at this announcement for some reason or another.
The main event, the Men’s B&G match, is up next!
COMMERCIALS!
Excalibur shills Draft Kings as we return. He says that TK has made the match official for Full Gear. It will be Joe and Page inside a SALAD STEEL CAGE!
Schiavone is in the ring. He waxed poetic about the history of wrestling in Charlotte, and how much it means to him to be here to celebrate this occasion. He introduces Ricky The Dragon Steamboat!
The Dragon has arrived! He gets into the ring and embraces Tony. Tony was here in June 1978 as a fan when Ricky and Paul Jones teamed up to become world tag team champions. Ricky and Dusty Rhodes became tag team champions on TBS!
Ricky wants to thank TBS for airing this. He points out a poster that shows the Mount Rushmore of Wrestling. It’s Flair, Dusty, Sting, and Steamboat! Ricky says his #1 nemesis was Sting. He came to Mid-Atlantic Wrestling when he was 16 months into the business. Ric Flair went to Jim Crockett and said they have a real good kid here. Let’s see what we can do with him.
But FTR and their awesome music are here! Ricky says he knows him, but which him is the question. Ricky says he knows Dax. He wants to mention that a few years back he had his hand in working with him. He saw in the back that he is climbing that ladder and he is making it up.
Stoke says thank you. He says he can’t believe he is standing in the ring with a legend. Now, Ricky, you know FTR are the greatest tag team alive today. But Ricky, my name is Big Stoke, and no, he is not Denzel Washington, apparently people get them confused lol. Ricky is synonymous with professional wrestling history, especially in this building. But it’s ironic, because next Saturday, the 22nd, in Newark New Jersey, FTR will make history when they become 3-time tag team champions. Stoke asks Ricky for Macho Man’s phone number, he hasn’t sent him a TikTok in a while. LOL!
Cash Wheeler takes the mic. He shows a picture of Ricky’s last match with FTR. He says Ricky picked them because he knows they are miracle workers and they could drag this former shell of a man to a good match.
Dax says Ricky took him under his wing 13 years ago. He taught him, um, hold on, he’s got this. Oh wait, Ricky hasn’t said one intelligent thing in his life.
Ricky says one thing he didn’t teach him is that his attitude has gone into the toilet.
Dax says you told him that it doesn’t matter how much you make, it’s how you manage it. And if you had taken your own advice, you and Ric Flair wouldn’t be here. Back in 2012, who would have thought they would be standing in a ring on TBS. And who knew that Dax would be an even bigger legend than you are.
Ricky and Dax come face-to-face. Cash approaches to intimidate him. Dax tells Ricky to leave his ring. Dax picks up the mic and tells him to get out of his ring. Ricky take the mic from Tony. Going back a few years ago, I would tell both of you to kiss my ass. But, sometimes, discretion is the better part of valor. He realizes he is going to be 73. He isn’t begging or asking for any kind of sorrow or forgiveness, so he is going to be the bigger man today.
Dax says give it up for Ricky Steamboat. FTR ambush him! They’re setting up for the stuff piledriver, but Brodido are here to make the save! 21-Plex to Wheeler, as King takes him out of the ring. RICKY LANDS SOME RIGHTS TO DAX! King has Dax up, but Stoke pulls him to safety. Bandido kicks Wheeler back out of the ring, and Stoke has a shoe in his hand lol. Brody and Bandido shake hands with Ricky as FTR and Stoke take their leave.
Hey, guys and girls, remember twenty minutes ago when they said the Men’s B&G main event was next? Well, that’s FRFR this time!
COMMERCIALS!
Men’s Blood & Guts Match: Darby Allin, Roderick Strong, and the Conglomeration vs. The Death Riders
The Darbster is out first for his team, while Sheepdog Yuta is out first for the Death Riders.
The bell rings, as Yuta walks back out of the cage, because he’s a sheepish coward lol. He talks trash with the fans, but Allin sneaks up behind him and hits a missile dropkick. Allin throws Yuta from barricade back to the cage. He sends him into the barricade. He charges in, but Yuta moves, and Darby goes splat. FUCK YOU YUTA chants again, as Yuta mocks Darby to get back into the ring. Yuta waits for Allin to get to the door, and he kicks it into the head of Darby. He continues to talk that mad smack, as he grabs Allin and brings him back in. Yuta tells the ref to close this shit, because Allin keeps running. Right, lol.
Yuta continues to taunt Darby, so Allin springs off the top rope, off the cage, and hits a Coffin Drop! Yuta goes for Darby’s skateboard, but Allin hits a destroyer. We see the tacks on the bottom of Darby’s skateboard, and Allin grinds it into the forehead of Yuta. YOU DESERVE IT chants, and Danielson agrees lol. Yuta with a low blow, as Allin hits the mat in pain.
Orange Death Cassidy is here with his backpack and his elbow pad in his back pocket. FRESHLY SQUEEZED chants as Cassidy breaks his own sunglasses. He uses the broken part to gouge at the forehead of Yuta! Allin and Cassidy take turns hitting back splashes to Yuta, as Cassidy lands some deadly punches to the gut of Yuta. Allin grabs his skateboard, ascends to the top, and comes down on Yuta with his skateboard. Yuta scrams like a spoiled brat lol.
No Dances Danny is out next to even things up. He wears a surgical mask to the ring, and Tony laments that it won’t help Danny in this. I mean…
Garcia enters the cage and attacks both Cassidy and Yuta. He has both of them in a choke as Yuta attacks from behind. Yuta has a chain in hand, they chop Cassidy to the ropes, and then hits a double team lariat with the chain to the throat of Cassidy. Yuta stomps on Allin as we head to PIP Break.
Allin and Cassidy wrap up Yuta and Garcia in the chain that Yuta brought into the ring, as the Man Who Diversifies his Portfolio is out next.
Or not? Apparently, something has happened in the back. Renee is seen walking the back, as Roddy and Kyle go into a locker room to find Briscoe hunched over on the floor. Kyle ask what they are going to do? Roddy says he’ll go out now. So, make that the Messiah of the Backbreaker coming out now. He hits both Yuta and Garcia with a backbreaker and a cutter to Yuta.
The Swiss Cyborg is out next to even the odds at three. Strong attacks Claudio, but he shoves him off and throws him into the chair lodged in the corner of the ring. Claudio goes for the Giant Swing on Allin, but Cassidy jumps on his back. Claudio still swings Darby with Cassidy on his back, as Yuta puts up his hands and says I’m good lol. Claudio throws Allin from ring to ring and grinds the face of Roddy into the cage. Garcia with the surfboard on Allin, launching him right into an uppercut from Claudio.
The one True Kyle is out next for his team. Double leg takedown to Yuta as he pounds away on him. KOR catches Garcia with a side suplex. Claudio catches KOR with an uppercut, but Kyle catches him with a running knee. Front face look into a Guillotine by KOR. Claudio powers out of it, but KOR with a chop block. Strong and O’Reilly with a tandem jumping knee strikes. Yuta hits All in the gut with a chair, while Garcia chokes out Strong in the ropes. Claudio and O’Reilly trade blows in ring two, while everyone else battles in ring one. Yuta with a suplex to Strong onto a chair, while Garcia sends Cassidy out of the ring, trapping Cassidy between the ring and the cage. Piledriver by Yuta to Allin as we hit break.
The Death Riders are running train over their opponents as we return from break. Claudio chucks Cassidy into the ring, as Jonny John Jon is out next. Kind of interesting that Jon would come out before PAC, but here we are.
Moxley attacks O’Reilly’s head with a fork. He punches away on Strong before forking him in the head. Or eye, says Excalibur. Allin off the ropes with a Coffin Drop, but Moxley stabs him in the back with the fork. He tells Garcia to stab Allin the back, and Daniel obliges. They chuck Darby out and in between the cage and ring. Moxley goes outside and gets some of the broken items and a bat.
Mark Briscoe WOULD Have been up next, but Renee has an update from the back. She says that the doctor is still looking at Briscoe, and it appears that the attack was brought on by the Don Callis Family. So, it’s 5-on-4 for the Death Riders. While this is going on, Moxley gouges the head of Strong with a broken part of a frame. Garcia hits a piledriver on Allin into broken pieces of glass and shards. Garcia crawls away because his arse landed on the pile too lol. Moxley drags Allin across the broken pieces as we hit another break.
Darby is climbing the top of the cage, and he hits a Coffin Drop onto all of the Death Riders. The final member of the Death Riders, the Pants Wearing PAC is here. The bell rings as PAC enters the ring and the cage is locked. O’Reilly tries to neutralize PAC, but PAC takes care of him. Cassidy from the top, but he jumps into the arms of PAC. Yuta takes the key and shoves it in his pants. Good thing no one else is going to go in there to find it, honestly.
The Death Riders slow things down now. Yuta holds up Allin while PAC runs the ropes three times before delivering a lariat. MARK BRISCOE is here! He has a toolbox and bolt cutters, as he cuts the chain off and attacks Yuta from the word go. He throws a chair at Garcia. Claudio misses Briscoe and hits PAC, allowing Briscoe to take down Claudio. Moxley on the attack, but Briscoe grabs the toolbox and throws it back in. Yuta grabs onto Briscoe, but Mark hits him with a suplex on the floor.
Cassidy attacks PAC with a wrench, while Strong hammers on Moxley with the chain that Yuta brought in earlier. Cassidy with a set of pliers, he hits Moxley in the head with them. He hits him in the gut, but Moxley no sales it and punches away on Cassidy. Yuta has a chair thrown at him by Briscoe, as Mark brings over a table. Briscoe has visions of putting Yuta through the table, but Garcia chokes him out from behind. Mark sets up Garcia on the table instead, and Briscoe climbs the truss. He’s on top of the cage, but Garcia rolls off the table. KOR out and he locks on the cross-arm breaker!
Yuta has now joined Briscoe on top of the cage! They trade forearms, and Briscoe has a hook that he sends down the side of the cage. KOR attaches a bunch of chairs to the hook. and Briscoe, after much consternation, pulls the chairs up to the top of the cage! Yuta has one of the chairs, as does Briscoe. Dueling chairs ensue, until Briscoe disarms Yuta and hits him on the back. Briscoe sets up the chairs in a pile, and he wants the Jay Driller, but Yuta with a low blow. Yuta throws a chair into the head of Briscoe as we take our final break of the evening.
Yuta and Briscoe are still on top of the cage as we return from break. Yuta looks for the Jay Driller on Mark, but Briscoe returns the low blow favor and hits the Jay Driller for real! Allin is trying to kill Claudio with a hammer, but here is Moxley with his Abdullah the Butcher fork. Briscoe climbs down from the cage, and PAC is waiting to attack him. He sends Briscoe into the barricade, but here comes Allin to attack PAC. Allin throws PAC into the barricade. He has the taser in his hand, but he is attacked from behind by Gabe Kidd! Kidd chokes Allin and drags him up the stage, with PAC following. Cassidy, meanwhile, will learn in the future to not put his hands in his pockets after he gets them stapled to his lap.
Meanwhile, on the stage, Kidd and PAC try to pull Darby up on top of the stage, but Allin fights off Kidd for a bit. Kidd goes backstage and comes back with lighter fluid. HE LIGHTS THE TABLES ON FIRE, AND PAC THROWS CASSIDY OFF THE STAGE AND THROUGH BOTH TABLES!!! AND YET ALLIN WILL NOT SURRENDER!
Welp…
Back in the ring, Moxley puts the chain around the mouth of O’Reilly and puts on the bulldog choke. O’Reilly flips him off, as Moxley gives up the move for something more sinister. Claudio sets up the chair on the throat of O’Reilly, but OC rolls in like a barrel. He kips up, as Cassidy and Strong hit running elbows. PAC is back at ring side, as Briscoe puts him through a table. Yuta gets put through a table. Cassidy wants the Orange Punch on Moxley, but Claudio intercepts him, so he gets punched instead. Claudio put through the table by Strong! O’Reilly has the ankle lock on! Moxley counters, but O’Reilly with the arm bar! O’Reilly back to the ankle lock! Moxley is in the broken glass! DICTATOR JON GIVES IT UP!
WINNER: Darby Allin, Roderick Strong, and the Conglomeration
TIME: 54:00
THOUGHTS: Not for nothing, but if the Death Riders had won after the heels won earlier in the Women’s B&G match, it would have been shady AF. But the good guys won, Briscoe overcame being attacked before the match, Darby was involved in more insane shit, and perhaps the most interesting part of it all, Moxley tapped out and lost the match for his group. We’ll see how that plays out moving forward, but as for this match, it was on par with the women’s match, but it had more insane shit going on during it.
RATING: ****1/2
The baby faces (sans Darby) celebrate their win, as the Death Riders retreat.
And with that, we are done!
