This week’s edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter shed some further light on The Vision stable. WrestleMania 41 saw Paul Heyman turn on both CM Punk and Roman Reigns, allying with Seth Rollins. This led to the creation of The Vision, with Rollins handpicking Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker as new members.

Of course, as previously reported, Rollins injured his shoulder during his Night of Champions match against Cody Rhodes later that year, which caused WWE to pivot from its original plans of Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 42. After Rollins was injured, Breakker subsequently attacked Rollins, kicking him out of The Vision to write Rollins off TV.

Dave Meltzer reported in the Observer Newsletter that when Heyman aligned with Rollins, the long-term plans were to have Rollins take Breakker under his wing, and then Heyman and Breakker would eventually double-cross Rollins, with Breakker being positioned as WWE’s new top star. Rollins’ injury reportedly accelerated those plans by months, with the double-cross originally planned for late April, following WrestleMania 42.

However, now Oba Femi has a lot of momentum, with Meltzer speculating that the recent booking indicates that Femi is now being positioned as the top star, with Breakker losing steam.

Currently, Breakker holds the World Tag Team Titles with The Vision stablemate Austin Theory. They won the titles from The Street Profits on Raw earlier this month.
