Impact Wrestling News: Impact Reportedly Didn’t Know About Chris Adonis’ Exit, Note On Alberto El Patron’s Future, Promo For Genesis
– The Wrestling Observer (via Wrestling Inc) reports that the departure of Chris Adonis wasn’t known by Impact Wrestling management ahead of time. He announced that he was leaving after the third night of the tapings last week. He previously returned to Impact in April of last year.
Adonis reportedly left on his own and Impact wasn’t sure why he did it. He had been scheduled for the entire week of tapings last week.
– Here is a promo for Impact Wrestling’s upcoming Genesis episode this Thursday, featuring Moose vs. Bobby Lashley, Allie vs. Knockouts Champion Laurel Van Ness, Matt Sydal vs. Grand Champion Ethan Carter III and a Steel Cage match with Johnny Impact vs. Alberto El Patron vs. Global Champion Eli Drake.

– Speaking of Patron, The Wrestling Observer (via Wrestling Inc reports that his contract with Impact expires this spring. Bobby Lashley and Ethan Carter III, who had similar big money deals to what Patron was making, have already left the company when Impact couldn’t pay them anymore.
