John Cena revealed the competitors for the Iron Survivor Challenge matches to take place at NXT Deadline on this week’s WWE NXT. Cena appeared in videos on Tuesday’s show and announced the men and women that will compete in the specialty match at Deadline.
Only one spot had to qualify to be in the match, and it was the final men’s slot. Myles Borne and Trick Williams competed in the main event. Cena said the winner of the match would have a spot in the Iron Survivor match. Borne picked up the win to earn the position.
You can see the list of competitors below for the two matches:
Men’s Iron Survivor Match:
* Je’Von Evans
* Leon Slater
* Joe Hendry
* Dion Lennox
* Myles Borne
Women’s Iron Survivor Match:
* Sol Ruca
* Lola Vice
* Kelani Jordan
* Jordynne Grace
* Kendal Grey
The iron Survivor Challenge is NXT’s signature match for Deadline. The men’s and women’s matches are 25-minutes long and feature five wrestlers, with two starting the match and the rest entering at intervals. Any wrestler that is pinned, disqualified, or submits then has to enter the penalty box for 90 seconds, with the wrestler scoring the most points by the end of the 25 minute match winning. The winners earn future title shots at the NXT Championship and NXT Women’s Championship, respectively.
NXT Deadline takes place on December 6th from Tech Port Center at San Antonio, Texas. The show airs live on Peacock and Netflix internationally.
