Jack Perry Wins National Title In Battle Royal At AEW Revolution

Jack Perry is the new AEW National Champion, winning the title in the Blackjack Battle Royal at AEW Revolution. Sunday night’s show saws Ricochet defend the title against 20 other competitors in a match that started on the Zero Hour pre-show before transitioning to the main PPV card.

The other competitors in the match were Dalton Castle, AR Fox, The Beast Mortos, Dralistico, RUSH, Johnny TV, Anthony Bowens, Katsuyori Shibata, Scorpio Sky, El Clon, Rocky Romero, Trent Beretta, Daniel Garcia, Tommaso Ciampa, Austin Gunn, Ace Austin, Juice Robinson, and HOOK.

The final three in the match were Ricochet, El Clon, and Perry. Perry tossed Clon and then ended up on the apron with Ricochet. Both men tried to knock the other off and Perry ultimately ended up on Ricochet’s shoulders, but reversed into a PoisonRana to eliminate the champion and get the win. Perry’s win is his first with the National Championship. He is a former TNA Champion and former AEW World Tag Team Champion. Perry ends Ricochet’s reign at 113 days. Ricochet won the title in a 12-man Casino Gauntlet match at AEW Full Gear to become the inaugural champion.
