Jacob Fatu stood tall over Roman Reigns to end this week’s WWE Raw, putting down the World Champion after they signed their contract for WWE Backlash. Monday night’s show closed with the contract signing between Reigns and Fatu to seal their World Heavyweight Championship match for Saturday’s PLE.

The two shared words on the mic, with Reigns talking about how he gets respect from the crowd but not from his own family in Fatu, noting that he brought Fatu and Solo Sikoa in. He that Fatu shouldn’t use his Tongan Death Grip on his family as he did against Reigns last week.

Fatu said that it was him against the world and had no choice but to take Reigns out, and will do anything for his household.

Reigns signed the contract and said that he’s been taking care of the whole family for years. He said that WWE listens to him, not Fatu, and that they’re equals in the family, but Fatu is beneath him in the ring.

That led to a brawl between the two, with Adam Pearce trying and failing to separate them. Fatu eventually applied the Tongan Death Grip and put Reigns through the table before signing the contract and leaving the ring to close the show. You can see clips below.

Reigns and Fatu will compete for Reigns’ title at WWE Backlash, which takes place at the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida on May 9th. It will air on ESPN Unlimited in the US and on Netflix internationally.

WWE will have live coverage of the show on Saturday.
