Jake Roberts Recalls Stiff Clothesline From Sid Vicious, Details Getting His Receipt

On the latest episode of The Snake Pit with Jake Roberts, the WWE Hall of Famer was asked if he ever took a bump so bad that he didn’t want to get up. He recounted a particularly stiff clothesline from Sid Vicious.  You can check out some highlights below:

On the moment: “Oh, god, yeah, hundreds of times. Sid Vicious, he clotheslined me and he tore my fucking head off. Yeah, it nearly tore my head off, man. And we had a little talk afterwards.”

On having a confrontation with him and Sid’s reaction: “He told me maybe it’s time for me to retire. Wouldn’t you know it? I had to wrestle him the next night, and he clotheslined me again, but this time something happened. It snapped his bicep. Something happened. Thank God there wasn’t nobody filming that.”
