Jeff Jarrett Details Emotional Reaction To Watching Dark Side Of The Ring TNA Episodes

Jeff Jarrett says that it was an emotional experience watching the TNA episodes of Dark Side of the Ring for the first time. The first two of three episodes served as the two-part premiere of Dark Side of the Ring season seven last Tuesday. The episodes focus on Jarrett’s story and the story of TNA.

VICE TV had a special screening of the episodes in New York, and Jarrett and Chris Jericho were in attendance. Jericho spoke with AMNY about what it was lick to watch the episodes, and you can see the highlights below:

On His Reaction to the Episodes:

“I was just telling Chris [Jericho] as we were coming down the steps, the authenticity and the drama really hit me. There was footage in there I hadn’t seen in years, including my grandfather. Seeing all of it come together was emotional all over again.”

On the Series As a Whole:

“For years, I glossed over it. During these interviews, they asked follow-up questions that made me articulate things I’d never said out loud before. When I watched it back, it hit me all over again. They know how to tell a story, but they’re also incredibly skilled interviewers. They know how to let people open up.”
