Keep Refreshing For The Latest Results

Sickos! It’s Wednesday, you know what that means! AEW Dynamite is live tonight, but this isn’t just any old episode of Dynamite, for tonight, in Phoenix, Arizona, it is Maximum Carnage!

Cues the SNES game intro song

Tonight will feature title matches, matches with title implications, and returns. We’ll start off with the AEW Men’s World Heavyweight Championship, as Maxwell Jacob Friedman will defend the title against Bandido. In an effort to crown the next number one contenders for the AEW Men’s World Tag Team Titles, we will have a four team match, involving Jet Speed, GOA, The Young Bucks, and Don Callis Family members Jake Doyle and Mark Davis.

Darby Allin demanded a match against PAC, and tonight he gets that match, and hopefully, he doesn’t regret asking for it. The new, true best friends of Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, and Harley Cameron will team up to face the Triangle of Madness. Kenny Omega will also make his return tonight, all of this and, I am sure, so much more in store for us tonight!

So, how is everyone on this Wednesday Night? Eagles fired Kevin Patullo, which was a year’s worth of games from being overdue. But at least we can move forward with someone who knows how to deploy an offense like the Eagles have. Hopefully, the Flyers get back on track, as the Eastern Conference is a gauntlet. Phillies also lost Ranger Suarez to the Boston Red Sox, although given how he performed in the second half of seasons, I’m not sure that’s as big a loss as I had initially thought.

But enough about me and enough about you, let’s get ready to make the Dynamite go BOOM on this episode of Maximum Carnage!

Tonight, we are LIVE from the Arizona Financial Theater in Phoenix, Arizona for Maximum Carnage! Excalibur and Bryan Danielson are on the call tonight.

Different theme song to open the show instead of the Sum-41 song. Can’t say I don’t like it, but can’t say that I enjoy it, either. It would be easier to hear if Excalibur would stop talking, though.

Samoa Joe spoke earlier today. Hangman Page represents the fool who doesn’t learn when they are defeated. He will deal with him later, but the Opps have to get ready for a Trios’ Titles defense. Joe has put a bounty out on Hangman, and that has been answered.

Enter Bryan Keith. He got a taste of the Hangman three years ago, but he is a different man now. Tonight, he will hunt Hangman down, and he will cash in. OH YEAH!

Darby fell! For You!

PAC vs. Darby Allin

Renee Paquette with insight from ringside. PAC and the Death Riders come out, but PAC says he wants to do this himself. The Death Riders dispatch, and as Justin Roberts introduces PAC, Allin goes flying out of the ring with a Tope Suicida! Allin attacks PAC and sends him out into the crowd. The fight continues up the steps, as Allin drags PAC along for the ride.

PAC eventually turns the tables, and the fight continues to the other side of the arena. Allin fights back and throws PAC into a wall. Darby climbs up to the balcony, and he hits a Coffin Drop down onto PAC! Both men finally make it back down the steps and to ring side, as PAC tries to run away from Allin. It was all a ruse, however, as PAC throws Allin into the guard rail and then hits a snap German.

PAC picks up Allin and it looks like they are hugging lol. PAC throws him down and drags over the ring steps. PAC picks up Allin again and hits an overhead belly-to-belly onto the ring steps.

Welp, Allin has fallen, Ollie, but not like that lol.

PAC throws Allin into the ring, and he tells Paul Turner to check on him. Allin insists that he can go, so Turner rings the bell. The PAC train gets rolling, and he hits a lariat to Allin. The cover, but Allin kicks out at two. PAC with a catapult into the middle rope, which gets PAC another two. PAC with a whip, and he hits a variation of the back body drop, but PAC did a 360 and out. PAC with another German, this time with a bridge for a two as we head out for break.

PAC and Allin are on the top rope jockeying for control as we return. Allin is able to send PAC down to the mat, and he follows that up with a missile dropkick. Allin with forearms and a springboard Coffin Splash to PAC. Allin with a kick, roll through, and a shotgun dropkick. Allin, though, was too giddy, and he eats a belly-to-belly from PAC into the corner.

PAC puts Allin back on the top and goes up. Avalanche belly-to-belly from PAC. PAC hoists up Allin and hits him with an Awesome Bomb out of the ring and onto the ramp! Turner counts Allin as PAC sits on the top rope. At the count of nine, Allin makes it back into the ring, as PAC looks like, thinking what do I have to do to this twerp? Allin flips him off, and PAC jumps down from the top rope, but he comes up lame on his ankle.

Allin seizes the opportunity as he attacks and gets an ankle pic. PAC rolls out of the ring, but he isn’t safe from Allin as he hits a Coffin Drop down to the floor! Allin sets PAC up on the apron, goes back to the top, and he hits another Coffin Drop onto the apron onto PAC.

Allin sends PAC back into the ring, and he hits some corner charges to PAC. On the third attempt, PAC pulls Turner in front of him, and PAC squashes him. PAC tries to take advantage, but Allin with the double leg into the Scorpion Death Lock! PAC taps out, but Turner is still DED. Wheeler Yuta is here with a chair, but Allin dispatches of him with a Scorpion Death Drop. Allin takes the chair, puts it on the ankle of PAC, and hits a Coffin Drop from the top onto the chair! Allin reapplies the Death Lock, and PAC taps out again.
WINNER: Darby Allin
TIME: 11:10 (Officially)
THOUGHTS: Excalibur said it best, this was personal for Allin, but business for PAC. The usual Allin fare, with the daredevil stuff, but also his ability to eat pain and punishment like it was pizza.
RATING: ***1/2

Bryan Keith is here to claim that bounty!

Hangman Adam Page vs. Bryan Keith W/Big Bill

The bell rings, as Keith tries to use the distraction from Bill to his advantage. Page avoids that, but Keith still manages to land chops to Hangman. Page catches Keith for the Fallaway, but Keith escapes, only to eat a big boot. Page throws Keith into the corner and lays in the forearms. Page sends Keith out onto the apron, he misses his springboard clothesline, but he smacks Keith in the back of the head lol. Page with a slingshot splash to the outside onto Keith.

Page walks by Bill, but Keith sneaks up on Hangman. Page reverses Keith’s whip and hits a lariat. Hangman throws Keith into the apron and then sends him back into the ring. Page has Keith up, he wiggles his way free, but Hangman SALTS him with a forearm. Referee Aubrey Edwards is checking on Keith, allowing Bill to grab the boot of Page. Keith fires back with a torpedo headbutt, and he takes Page to the corner and lays in strikes. That’ll take us to the break.

Keith charges Hangman but eats the corner as we return. Hangman takes too long to get going, and Keith hits a drop toe hold into the bottom rope. Exploder from Keith that gets him a two. Hangman reverses Keith’s whip, but he eats a back elbow. Undeterred, Hangman snatches Keith up for the Fallaway Slam. Page kips up and hits a series of clotheslines and reverses a Sunset Flip into a basement lariat for a two.

Page picks up Keith, but Bryan elbows his way out. Rolling cover by Keith for a two. Keith with another Exploder into the corner, but Hangman kicks out at two. Keith mocks putting out a cigar into Hangman’s back and looks for the Tiger Driver, but Hangman flips out of it and hits a lariat. He sets up for the Buckshot Lariat, but again Bill grabs him. Hangman misses his moonsault, allowing Bill to goozle him. Swerve Strickland is here, and he chokes out Bill with his chain! Page back to the apron, and the Buckshot Lariat connects for the win!
WINNER: Hangman Adam Page
TIME: 9:25
THOUGHTS: Hangman wasn’t losing. It was nice to see Keith and Bill on Dynamite, anyway!
RATING: ***

Post-match, Page has the mic. BRYAN! You go and try to collect your bounty now, DUMBASS! Samoa Joe! He’s not man enough to fight me himself, so he goes and hire Bryan Keith. He is going to take everything from you, Joe!

Swerve says he has a message for MJF. If you just so happen to come out victorious, it means that you actually lost. Because that means that I, no, we, are going to come after you relentlessly. It’s 2026 and its time for a New Year’s Resolution. It’s been a while since I have had a World Title around my waist, so it’s time I get back on top and make this WHOSE HOUSE? SWERVE’S HOUSE!

BATTLE CRY hits, and Kenny Omega has arrived! Omega on the mic. He has his own time set aside for what he had to say, but he figured why not come out here now? Why not come out now when three of the greatest challengers for the AEW World Belt are standing right here, right now! All three of them have something to prove. Kenny has to prove to himself and each one of us is that when you all called me the God of Professional Wrestling is that it meant something, and that you all still believe! And Kenny still believes. Winning a belt, you can’t just be an EVP, snap your fingers, and make it happen. He has to win matches first, and whether it is friend (stares at Hangman) or foe (stares at Swerve) I am going for that belt.

Hangman says it looks like three men want that title. This is not a team effort, and if they cross paths on the way to the title, he means this sincerely, may the best man win!

Hangman and Omega shake hands, Hangman leaves, and Kenny talks to Swerve for a bit before he takes off with Prince Nana. Kenny is still going to talk, but THE MOST AWESOME THEME SONG IN THE BUSINESS HITS, and here comes Don Callis with his guys. HE HAS SOMETHING IMPORTANT TO SAY!

Don has always been a big fan of MJF, but I have to question his logic even thinking of associating with a scumbag like you. But now you’re back and now you want the title, right? And you have to win some matches, right? How about you wrestle against the man who broke Ibushi’s leg and the man who sent you to the hospital? How about you wrestle the Walking Weapon, Josh Alexander?

Oh, Uncle Don! I could barely hear you over all of these people, but it sounds like you issued a challenge. He doesn’t deserve a belt unless he beats some of the best in the business. And Josh Alexander, I have some time tonight. So, if you will have it, if Tony Khan will have it, and if you will have it, Josh, then we can do this tonight. What do you say, Josh?

Callis objects to this. They have known each other for many years, and you must have forgotten how this works. Daddy decides when the matches happen, and he has decided that he will get Alexander next week on Dynamite. And what Daddy says goes!

The Family leaves, but Callis waves someone towards him. Kenny says you heard it; we’ll have to wait until next week. But you have seen phase one of Kenny Omega becoming the World Champion yet again. As much as he loves the sound of his own voice, he must bid us adieu! So, goodbye, MUAH, and goodnight, BANG!

Dang, TK wasting NO time making that match official!

Renee is walking with Brody King in the back. Jon Cruz interrupts and tells King to tell that masked moron friend of his to never attack him again. Brody says he will, but it’s his turn now. King has a standby match, and it will be Cruz. Jon says he isn’t dressed to wrestle, but it doesn’t matter.

COMMERCIALS!

Brody King’s theme hits, and we see Jon Cruz running for his life lol.

Brody King vs. Serpentico Jonathan Cruz

Cruz throws his shoes at King as the bell rings. Cruz thinks he did something right when he elbows Brody, but he jumps into a punch. King with the Gonzo Bomb to end this one.
WINNER: Brody King
TIME: 35 seconds
THOUGHTS: About as well as it would go lol.
RATING: N/R

Post-match, King has the mic. BANDIDO! He wants you to go and beat MJF’s ass! And then it will be an honor to stand in the ring with a first time AEW World Champion.

Video package for the main event AEW World Title match tonight.

It’s time to determine the team that’ll face FTR!

4-Way Tag Team match to determine the #1 contenders for the AEW World Men’s Tag Team Titles: Davis and Doyle W/Don Callis vs. Jet Speed vs. GOA W/Ricochet vs. The Young Bucks

The bell rings, and the Bucks go after Davis and Doyle, while Jet Speed go after GOA. The Bucks and Jet Speed take turns flying out of the ring to wipe out the heels. The Bucks and Jet Speed face off in the ring now. Dosy-Doe from the Bucks, Double team dropkick misses as all four men hit the mat.

Davis and Doyle and GOA are back to attack the good guys. It looks like some kind of agreement has been reached between the heels, as the babyfaces try to interrupt that moment. Knight and Nick Jackson attack Liona and Davis, but they have no luck. Enter their tag team partner to provide lift support lol. That works, though, as Knight and Nick hit stereo DDTs to their opponents.

Everyone is fighting in the ring, and because Rick Knox is the referee, I’m confused as to why EVERYONE is in the ring at the same time. The rules didn’t stipulate that everyone was allowed to be in the ring, but whatever. Davis and Doyle block BTE Triggers from Jet Speed and the Bucks and turn that into stereo powerbombs. GOA are back and apparently no one is working together, as they take out Callis’ guys. Liona dives out of the ring and takes out Davis, Doyle, and Jet Speed on the floor! GOA beat up on Jet Speed some more as we head out for break.

Davis and Doyle do battle with Jet Speed in the ring as we return. Davis with a flying crossbody to Knight, and Bailey tries to jump him, but that doesn’t work out too well. The Bucks are back, and they take care of the Callis Guys. Nick with a SEE YA kick to Doyle on the floor and a CUTTER from the apron.

Everyone is in the ring now. The heels try to send the faces into one another, but they stop and force the heels to butt heads instead. Jet Speed and the Bucks head to the top and hid four flying elbows (Double Stereo?). It’s down to Jet Speed and the Bucks, but not for long, as Doyle enters the fray. Nick slips free from his attack, and he sends him into Liona on the apron. GOA sandwich Matt Jackson and hit Open the Gates! The pin, but Knight breaks the pin up.

Liona has Matt on his back; he collects Nick onto his shoulders as well. Here comes Bailey with the Ultimo Weapon to all three of them! UFO Splash from Knight! The cover, but Kaun makes the save. The Bucks are here to play the SUPERKICK PARTAY! Liona eats standing superkicks, so he gets a double dose of them from his knees.

The Bucks have Bailey pinned, but here comes Knight to save the day. The Bucks with the BTE Trigger to Bailey! The cover, but Ricochet pulls Knox out of the ring! Jack Perry is here, as he takes out Ricochet! Back in the ring, Bailey with a Rana to Doyle, but Jake catches him and throws him onto the pile of humanity on the floor! Doyle feeds Knight to Davis, who hits a piledriver, and that’s game!
WINNER: Jake Doyle and Mark Davis
TIME: 14:55
THOUGHTS: Crazy chaos and everyone got a chance to shine in this match. Surprised that they went with Davis and Doyle winning here, since they are heels, and so are FTR. But the match was great, for sure!
RATING: ****

Post-match, FTR and Big Stoke arrive. FTR get into the ring and raise their titles, so Davis and Doyle launch an attack. Refs and Security arrive to break it up, as FTR take their leave.

Trio’s action is coming up next!

COMMERCIALS!

Excalibur wants to take an opportunity to pay honor and respect to Bob Weir, founding member of the Grateful Dead.

Sky Flight are in the back. They have two big matches this week on Collision. Zayda Steel will face Marina Shafir, apparently, as the guys will face Don Callis Family members. Sky says why are you focused on the future when you need to realize what is right now.

The Cosmic Babes of Wrath vs. The Triangle of Madness

The bell rings, and Thekla will start off with Kris Statlander. Thekla fakes out Statlander before rolling past her and tagging in Julia Hart instead. Hart has arm control, but Statlander cartwheels out. Clotheslines from Statlander, Hart tries to wheelbarrow out, but Statlander with a German. Harley gets the tag, and Kris uses her to hit a tilt-a-world slam on to Hart for a two. Cameron with a Sling blade to Hart for another two.

Willow gets the tag, and she slams Hart down and then slams Cameron on top of Hart for a two. Skyle Blue with the tag, and she can’t whip Willow, but he hits a standing knee. Blue with a corner charge, but she runs into an enziguri from Willow. Nightingale takes her to the corner and hits corner lariats. Cameron in with a basement crossbody, and Statlander enters and hits a Meteora from behind to Blue. The cover, but she kicks out at two. Cameron with the tag, but Blue catches her and hits a DDT for a two. She mounts and punches Cameron as we head out to break.

Thekla has Cameron grounded as we return. Camreon to her feet, but Thekla holds on to her. Cameron elbows her way free, but Skye and Julia take Kris and Willow off the apron. Cameron counters Thekla with the merry-go-round and tags in Statlander. She implores Thekla to come at her, BRO, and she takes care of all three members of the Triangle of Madness. She hits a running knee strike to the head of Thekla and a Falcon Arrow. She did the deal, but the pin is broken up. Statlander fights off Blue and Hart, but not Thekla. Everyone is in now and they hit their shit!

Statlander holds Thekla up, as Cameron runs by and they perform a front face dominator. Here comes Cameron on the back of Willow, as she drops both of them down onto Thekla! The cover, but the sisters break it up. Statlander takes care of them, and Willow hits the POUNCE, PERIOD on Thekla! She looks for the Powerbomb, but Thekla escapes. Thekla has Willow lined up, but Kris shoves her out of the way, and she eats the SPEAR. Thekla stomps Kris and wins the match for her team!
WINNER: The Triangle of Madness
TIME: 11:30
THOUGHTS: A fun 6-woman match, Thekla winning all but assures us that she is the next challenger for Kris’ World Title.
RATING: ***1/2

In the back, Renee has Jet Speed. They don’t get to talk because Swerve Strickland is here! He says he believes in Jet Speed! He used to tear it up on the Indies with Bailey, and when he got to AEW, one of the first names he put into Tony Khan’s ear was Kevin Knight. He leaves, and here comes Hangman Page! He told Samoa Joe he was going to take everything from him, and this Saturday on Collision, he is taking the Trio’s Titles! Oh, and Jet Speed, you are his partners! Jet Speed are happy about this announcement.

The main event world title match is up next!

COMMERCIALS!

The Rascalz are coming to AEW soon! Nice!

Bandido shoves him off, so MJF with a shoulder tackle and a shimmy shake. Bandido lays down, but MJF steps over him and does the Double J strut. Bandido sweeps out of the legs of MJF twice and scores a two on both attempts. He does it a third time and again gets a two.

Bandido threatens MJF with finger guns, so MJF responds by gouging the eyes of the challenger. Bandido catches MJF and lifts him up into the military press. MJF yells for Bandido to put him down, so he does lol. MJF to the floor, here comes Bandido with the Tope Suicida! It looks like Bandido may have smacked his face on the barricade as well.

Bandido returns MJF to the ring and goes to the top. MJF, however, rolls out of the ring and to the apron. Bandido approaches, MJF screams TIME, and snaps the neck of Bandido over the top rope. MJF back in the ring and he locks on a key lock. Bandido to his feet, but Bandido with the Michinoku Driver! The cover, Bandido kicks out at two. MJF chokes Bandido in the corner with his boot. Bandido kicks MJF away and goes to the top, but MJF shakes the ropes to crotch the challenger.

MJF does a mocking tribute to the Macarena. Bandido counters his attack with his own strike and does the dance proper! MJF catches Bandido in springboard mode with a kick to the arm. Shoulder breaker from the champion gets him a two. He chokes Bandido as we head out for break.

MJF has engaged Eddie Guerrero mode as we return. Bandido blocks the third one, and a strike battle ensues. MJF bites the hand of Bandido, but the challenger is able to dead lift the champion into a suplex. MJF is to hie feet first, but Bandido goes around the world to hit a DDT. Bandido lifts up MJF with one arm and slams him to the mat. 21-Plex is avoided by MJF as he hits a back elbow and a stomp to the bad arm of Bandido. MJF into the pin, but Bandido counters with a crucifix for a two.

MJF finds himself on the floor, as Bandido takes off and hits a Senton Atomico! Bandido back to the ring, and he looks to fly again. Bandido returns MJF to the ring, but the champion goes back to the bad arm. Bandido is able to get to the corner, and he hits a Tope Cornio! MJF quickly applies the Salt of the Earth! Bandido almost makes it to the bottom rope, but MJF pulls Bandido back to the middle of the and switches to the LeBell Lock! Bandido flips off the champion in defiance, but he passes out from the pain.
WINNER: MJF (Still Champion)
TIME: 19:40
THOUGHTS: Great main event. Bandido can always go, which is no surprise, and MJF can go in the ring when he wants to, which is no surprise either.
RATING: ****1/4

MJF wants the music cut post-match. Bandido, when they said you were going to be an AEW World Champion, I laughed. But after wrestling you, it seems very apparent that they’re right. Bandido, as much as it pains me to admit this, you will be the AEW Champion one day. Which means, unfortunately, I have to do this.

And THIS is MJF attacking Bandido with his Triple B title. MJF indicates he is going to unmask Bandido, but he doesn’t get the chance, as Brody King is here to chase him away. King checks on Bandido and helps him to his feet. We get a run-down of the matches for Saturday, and with that, we are done!
