Jon Moxley is still your AEW Continental Champion after his match with Shane Taylor on AEW Dynamite, but it was Taylor standing tall after the match. Friday night’s episode saw Moxley put his title on the line against Taylor, a match that went a little bit over 13 minutes.

Taylor dominated the early portion of the match with his power offense, but Moxley was able to battle back and send Taylor over the ropes before hitting a dive onto the STP leader. Taylor got the best of Moxley on the outside, but once it got back to the ring Moxley was able to battle back. He picked up the victory with the bulldog choke.

After the match, Moxley was attacked by Taylor and the rest of Shane Taylor Promotions. Both Daniel Garcia and Marina Shafir came down to the ring but were taken out by the stable, with Trish Adora wiping Shafir out with a kendo stick. STP stood tall to close the segment. You can check out the highlights from the AEW Dynamite match below.

Moxley’s AEW Continental Championship right stands at 166 days. He won the title from Kazuchika Okada at AEW Worlds End in the finals of the Continental Classic.
