Jordynne Grace says that she is working on a research paper about why female athletes outperform male athletes when transitioning to pro wrestling. The WWE star posted to Twitter on Monday to note that she is working on the paper for her kinesiology class, tapping into a topic that has been gathering attention as of late.

Grace wrote:

“Writing a research paper in my kinesiology class on something highly debated in the wrestling world:

“Why female athletes transitioning to professional wrestling outperform their male counterparts in developmental training

“The biggest reasons:
– most women are coming from sports with high transferability to wrestling
– the female recruits have extensive experience being coached on precise movements
– recruiting for women focuses on skill; recruiting for men focuses on size

Will release my paper at a later date, but feel free to weigh in.”

In a response to a fan reply, Grace noted that “The top three transferable sports would be: gymnastics, amateur wrestling, and cheerleading.”

Jordynne Grace last competed on WWE TV on the June 18th episode of WWE Main Event, where she lost to Kiana James.
