Konosuke Takeshita has defeated his Don Callis Family rival, beating Kazuchika Okada for the International Title at AEW Double Or Nothing, but was taken down by a returning Kyle Fletcher. Sunday night’s PPV saw Takeshita and Okada go to war in an attempt to end their long-standing rivalry.

With Callis at ringside on commentary, the two battled back and forth and traded nearfalls and high-impact moves. Takeshita ultimately was able to get the pinfall after the Raging Fire in 19 minutes.

After the match, the Don Callis Family came into the ring, and Callis held the rest of the group off from a defiant Takeshita. Fletcher then came out to the ring and backed the rest of the Family off. After they left the ring, Fletcher hugged Takeshita. He raised the new champion’s hand, but then leveled him with a clothesline.

As the rest of the stable entered the ring, Fletcher continued the assault, concluding with a shot to the head from the AEW International Championship. You can see clips from the match and the segment below.

This marks Fletcher’s first appearance since he vacated the TNT Championship in April after suffering an injury. It’s not clear if he is fully cleared, as he was expected to be out for months per Tony Khan.

Takeshita is in his second reign as AEW International Champion, having previously held it for 148 days from late 2024 to early 2025. Okada’s reign ends at 317 days; he won it from Kenny Omega at AEW All In: Texas.
