UPDATED: Laredo Kid and Octagon Jr. are off of the TNA roster page following Laredo Kid’s announcement of his exit from the company. As Fightful notes, TNA removed the two from the roster page on Monday.
The two had been teaming as the Aztec Warriors in TNA, though they hadn’t done so since May.
ORIGINAL: In a post on Instagram, AAA wrestler Laredo Kid announced his departure from TNA Wrestling today. Kid had been making appearances at AAA events promoted by WWE, including the most recent Worlds Collide.
Fightful Select reports that they were unable to verify if Kid actually had a deal with TNA, or if he was just on loan from AAA. They add that he had not been backstage in TNA in awhile, but TNA sources told them that the door is open for him to return in the future.
In his Instagram post announcing his departure, he wrote: “Thank you for everything to this great company and family TNA Wrestling. I appreciate your tremendous support. I hope to return to work in the future. We’re on a new path.”
