Fraxiom vs. OTM

-Bronco and Lucien are back on Main Event. My Level Up kids! Actually, all everyone in this match came from Level Up. Axiom starts with Bronco and doesn’t do much so tags Nathan. He rushes in and gets knocked down with a clothesline. Nathan elbows off his shoulders and hits an enziguiri. Back to Axiom and we get some good double team moves as Fraxiom is hitting with speed and tagging in and out. Nathan back in and gets caught trying a cross-body. Bronco hits a sweet modified backbreaker and brings in Lucien. He throws Nathan around the ring and knocks Axiom off the apron. Vic notes OTM was born and molded in the darkness. Did he just quote The Dark Knight Rises? Lucien runs Nathan down and gets a two count. Tag to Bronco and he hits The G Ride on the ropes. Twisting throw drops Nathan on his face and gets two. Lucien back in and he throws a heavy forearm to the side of the head. He hooks a reverse chinlock and the crowd starts rallying behind Nathan. He hits a jawbreaker and knocks Bronco off the apron, but Lucien runs him down again. Nathan uses his speed to get away and makes the hot tag to Axiom. He fires off chops and hits a running forearm and another. He kicks Bronco off the apron and delivers an enziguiri from the apron. Cross-body off the top for two. Yes Kicks! Price shoves him away and hits nice clothesline that Axiom sells with a 360. Double Team by OTM gets two as Nathan flies in the picture to break up the count. Lucien dumped to the floor and Bronco follows. Suicide Dive by Nathan and one by Axiom. How about another one from each? The crowd is popping for all this. Missile Dropkick/Russian Leg Sweep combo connects and Axiom gets the pin at 6:20.

Winner: Fraxiom via pin at 6:20
-Fun little match, but I kind of expected them to deliver as Big vs. Little always works. I actually bought the near fall from OTM, so it worked. **3/4

-Clash in Italy! May 31!

Ivy Nile vs. Maxxine Dupri

-These two faced off on this show back in January and countless other times. Alpha Acamedy vs. American Made is destined to face off in some form forever! Ivy attacks before the bell and goes crazy with punches in the corner. Apparently this is from the show in Knoxville as Ivy is back in her hometown. Maxxine turns things around and gets the 10 count punches in the corner. She sends Ivy flying with a release German Suplex and then a Pump Kick. Ivy reverses a head scissors into a backbreaker and gets a solid reaction in her hometown. One leg dropkick in the corner followed by a SOS Slam gets two. Ivy goes for a suplex, but Maxxine counters with a small package for two. STO from Ivy to cut off that comeback attempt. This time she gets the delayed vertical suplex and holds Maxxine up there for about 30 seconds before completing the move. Nice! Ivy pours elbows down and gets a reverse chinlock. Maxxine escapes and hits a modified stunner/jawbreaker. They start trading strikes as they battle to their feet. Roundhouse kick from Maxxine followed by a Fisherman’s Suplex. Step Up Leg Drop gets two! Ivy slips out of a slam, but Maxxine picks the ankle and gets an ankle lock. Ivy escapes and gets a release German Suplex. Ivy with a slam into a Rock Bottom for the pin at 6:00.

Winner: Ivy Nile via pin at 6:00
-Based off RAW, Maxxine may be getting a new look and purpose, so her losing her kind of makes sense. Solid match which makes sense as they have faced each other a lot it seems. Good for Ivy getting a win and perhaps they can do a bit more with her on RAW. **

The Culling vs. Alpha Academy

-NXT back in the house and Dame, Vance come from Level Up so I am familiar with them. Obviously, I know Spears and got to see some of his work when I started my NXT PLE series (coming soon) earlier in the year. Spears starts with Otis and they lockup and Otis goes flying. Vance in and he shoves Otis. Side headlock, but Otis shoves off and they collide with neither budging. Otis gets a clothesline and makes the tag to Tozawa. He immediately gets dropped and Spears is back. He fires off chops, but runs into a pair of boots in the corner. Spears stops the run with a jawbreaker and makes the tag back to Vance. Tozawa caches him coming in and goes to fly off the top. Vance catches him and sends him flying with a throw. Spears back in as they stomp Tozawa down in the corner. Spears chokes on the bottom rope and Dame gets in a slap from the floor. Tozawa hits a enziguiri out of nowhere, but Vance cuts off the tag and gets a gutwrench suplex for two. Tozawa counters another throw into a DDT and the race is on. Tag to Spears and hot tag to Otis! Spinning back elbow to Spears and a slam to Vance. Splash to Vance and a splash to Spears. Otis sends Vance to the floor and Tozawa hits a suicide dive. Otis rips the shirt and hits The Caterpillar. No cover as he instead gets distracted by Dame. Otis gives her a kiss as we know he has a thing for the ladies. Tozawa with the tag and off the top with the Senton for the pin at 5:30. Tozawa gets some great height with that Senton!

Winner: Alpha Academy via pin at 5:30
-Standard tag match that hit all the right beats. I liked the earlier tag match better, but this was still fine and the crowd loves Alpha Academy. **

-Thanks for reading!

Solid show this week with the tag opener being the match of the night. The other two matches were perfectly acceptable wrestling. I like seeing the NXT kids get called up and seeing ones I first saw on Level Up was cool. I enjoyed this week!
