Liv Morgan Returns To In-Ring Action At WWE Live Event

Former WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan returned to in-ring action during a live event in Tampa, Florida, tonight.
The Judgment Day member battled former Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria in singles competition, ultimately picking up a victory by hitting her signature finishing move, Oblivion.
This was Liv Morgan’s first in-ring outing in over six months. She dislocated her shoulder during a singles match against Kairi Sane on the June 16, 2025, episode of Monday Night RAW and was subsequently consigned to the bench.
Morgan made a shocking return to WWE television at last month’s Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event at Petco Park. At the PLE, Dominik Mysterio battled John Cena for the Intercontinental Championship. After the interference from the entire Judgment Day faction wasn’t enough for Dominik to take down Cena, Liv Morgan decided to take matters into her own hands. She ran down to the ring and came face-to-face with Dom but surprisingly slapped him across his face before jumping onto Cena.
However, it was all part of a plan, as Liv’s expressions changed after she hugged Cena. She subsequently hit the 17-time World Champion in the nuts and then blasted him with the title belt, allowing Dominik to capitalize and reclaim the Intercontinental Championship. In the weeks following that, Liv has teased going after Stephanie Vaquer’s Women’s World Title. It remains to be seen if we get a program between the two in the coming months.
