Major Names Expected Backstage for Tonight’s WWE RAW At Madison Square Garden

WWE RAW is set to emanate from the iconic Madison Square Garden later tonight. The show will mark newly crowned Intercontinental Champion John Cena’s final appearance on the company’s flagship show.
WWE always tends to have major plans for its shows at the historic venue, with major stars making their presence felt, and that seems to be the case for tonight’s episode as well. According to Bodyslam+, Liv Morgan, Roman Reigns, and AJ Lee are set to be backstage tonight. However, there is no indication whether they will appear on television.
Morgan has been away from WWE TV since suffering a shoulder injury in June 2025. Meanwhile, Roman Reigns and AJ Lee have been absent since their respective matches at Crown Jewel: Perth and Wrestlepalooza.
Meanwhile, the company has announced several major matches and segments for tonight’s WWE RAW. The Last Time Is Now Tournament will roll on, with Gunther facing Je’Von Evans and Solo Sikoa battling a mystery opponent. John Cena, who will kick off the show, is also set to wrestle tonight.
The Women’s Intercontinental Championship will also be on the line at MSG, as Becky Lynch defends against Maxxine Dupri. We will also hear from Nikki Bella regarding her betrayal of Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer last Monday.
