Mandy Rose Discusses Otis & His Recent On-Screen Issues

Ever since arriving in WWE, Otis has almost constantly been in some type of drama with women. Maxxine Dupri’s departure from Alpha Academy to join Austin Theory is just the latest example of this. Back in 2020, it was Mandy Rose that was the center of Otis’s universe. They did briefly join forces before Mandy went down to NXT and formed Toxic Attraction.

Mandy Rose is out of WWE now, but she still pays attention to what’s going on. Fans still remind her as well, as she talked with TMZ’ s Inside the Ring about fans wanting her to come back and defend Otis. She was a little busy at the time.

On Maxxine Dupri Betraying Otis & Akira Tozawa:

“I was getting a lot of tweets and a lot of people being like, ‘Oh my god, Mandy Rose is going to come back and save Otis.’ And I was laughing because I think I was like literally delivering my baby like that week. And I was in the hospital like, ‘Oh man, I should just post a photo and be like, “I really wish I could, but I’m actually in active labor right now. Sorry, guys.” I think the crowd would have erupted and I think that would have been a really really cool moment. 100%.”

On Working With Otis:

“He’s hilarious. Like, everything about him is just hilarious. He’s always in good spirits. He’s such a positive person and he’s a lot of fun and we had we had such a ball filming. Um yeah, he was the best. We were definitely the OG. You guys can’t deny that, right?”
