Matt Cardona Took a Loss With Back To The Future Entrance At GCW Homecoming

Matt Cardona paid more than he earned at GCW Homecoming thanks to his Back To The Future-themed entrance. Cardona came out to the ring in a DeLorean with actors as Doc Brown and Marty McFly at the show, and he revealed in a new YouTube video that he paid more than he got for the match.

“Doc and Marty,” Cardona said (per Fightful). “This is what they do… It’s a package deal. Yes, [I paid them] a lot of money. Yes, the package deal is more than I’m getting paid today.”

He continued, “Yeah, it’s the investment… for instance, last year I did the Jurassic Park thing, and tonight I’m selling official figures of me in that gear. It all paid off, right? Not every gamble pays off. Calculated risks.”

Cardona lost to Shotzi Blackheart at the show.
