Matt Jackson Discusses the Rise of Hangman Page, Says Page Became Bigger Than He Ever Expected

– Speaking to Justin Barrasso for Undisputed, AEW’s Matt Jackson of The Young Bucks discussed the rise of his real-life friend, Hangman Page, who recently won his second AEW World Title last month at AEW All In Texas. Below are some highlights:

Matt Jackson on the rise of Hangman Page: “It’s not lost on me how cool it has been to be part of so many of his big moments. Being involved in the main event also gave me the privilege to prop myself up on a guardrail and watch the finish. I covered my smiling mouth with my hand. So proud.”

On Hangman becoming bigger than he ever expected: “Hangman was young, handsome, and unexposed, and he had the right attitude… he had all the tools, instincts, and talent. He’s become bigger than I ever expected.”

Hangman Page has a huge challenge ahead of him this weekend at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. He defends his title against former AEW World Champion MJF. The event is scheduled for Sunday, August 24 at The O2 Arena in London, UK. It will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.
