Max Caster is set for Volume 2 of… something, as he has filed a trademark application for the term. Fightful reports that the AEW star filed the trademark on May 26th for Volume 2. At the same time, he posted to his Twitter account on Tuesday to retweet a post by Beyond Wrestling about Wrestling Open RI’s upcoming summer schedule.
Caster wrote:
“My new home. Proud to be a part.
The only place you’ll see the Best Wrestler Alive™️ every week. “
Meanwhile trademark application for Volume 2 reads as follows:
“IC 041: Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestler and sports entertainer in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”
Caster hasn’t competed in AEW since the start of the year; his most recent match for the promotion was the Dynamite Diamond Ring 2025 Battle Royal on the December 17th episode of Dynamite.
To be clear, there is no indication that Caster is no longer under contract to AEW. He is still listed on the company’s roster page, which has historically been a fairly reliable indicator of someone’s contract status. Caster has worked with Beyond Wrestling regularly throughout his AEW run.
My new home. Proud to be a part.
The only place you’ll see the Best Wrestler Alive™️ every week.
