Mayu Iwatani recently took to social media to share an update on her injury. Iwatani is currently dealing with two fractures in her big toe. The injury led to her relinquishing the GHC Women’s Championship earlier this month
On X, the veteran wrestler posted X-ray images of her feet and shared that her bones have finally started to heal, which means she won’t be undergoing surgery.
“Ooooooh!!!!!!!! Finally!!!!!! Finally, my bones are starting to heal—!!! Right is two weeks ago. Left is today. Yesssh!!! So glad 💦. No surgery!!!!!! The best!!!: she wrote.
Later, Iwatani shared a video in which she could be seen moving swiftly. Mayu Iwatani is the reigning Marigold Superfly Champion. As far as the GHC Women’s Title is concerned, its fate would be decided at the WRESTLE MAGIC event next month.
