MJF Praises Booker T As a Blueprint To Him, Says ‘Show Some Respect’

MJF is standing by Booker T, praising the WWE Hall of Famer and NXT announcer in a new social media post. The WWE star was recently named the Worst Announcer in the WON Awards. Booker has been part of the announcing team for WWE NXT since 2022, joining Vic Joseph as part of the permanent broadcast team.

MJF posted to Twitter on Monday evening to stick up for Booker amid a host of online discussion of the five-time WCW Champion’s commentator skills. The Salt of the Earth called for respect to Booker, writing:

“@BookerT5x in a lot of ways is a blueprint to me. A completely homegrown top guy with massive drawing power on Warner TV without having to have worked for McMahon.

If you dislike what he does in the booth, that’s fine.

But You guys talk crazy on legends.

Show some respect, he’s earned it.”

Booker T retweeted the post but has yet to otherwise comment on it.

MJF is the current AEW World Champion and retained his title against Brody King at AEW Grand Slam Australia on Saturday. He will now go on to defend it against Hangman Page at AEW Revolution on March 15th in Los Angeles, California.
