MLW Expected To File New Lawsuit Against WWE

As previously reported, a judge previously dismissed MLW’s lawsuit against WWE, noting they did not make a sufficient argument to back up their accusations of violating the Sherman Antitrust Act. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that it’s believed that MLW will file a new lawsuit against WWE on March 6, which is the last day they can legally file.
If they don’t file by that day, they won’t be able to in regards to their previous accusations. If they do file, all references to the Sherman act have to be removed and it can’t be filed in California.
This is said to be unrelated to the recent speculation about MLW’s future on REELZ following the channel getting added to Peacock. When MLW filed the initial lawsuit, they also accused WWE of intentional interference with contractual relations, intentional interference with prospective economic relations and more.
