We reported yesterday that Hideo Itami has finished up with WWE as of last night’s Smackdown taping and asked for his release from the company. PWInsider reports that Itami has not been granted his release yet but is expected to get it soon. He said goodbye to everyone and last night was his final scheduled night with WWE. It’s believed that he is looking to return to his home in Japan. Once he gets his release, he’ll have a 90-day no-compete clause.
Itami said goodbye on Twitter as well, which prompted reactions from several WWE stars.
THANK YOU.
