Natalia Markova Wins NWA Women’s World Title, Ends Kenzie Paige’s Two-Year Reign

Natalia Markova is the new NWA Women’s World Champion, putting an end to Kenzie Paige’s legendary reign with the championship. Markova defeated Paige to capture the title in a match that aired on this week’s episode of NWA Powerrr. The match was taped as part of the NWA 77th Anniversary show on August 16th.

By winning the title, which is Markova’s first in the NWA, she ended Paige’s 720-day championship reign. Paige defeated Kamille at NWA 75 in August of 2023. She defended the title 32 times during her reign before losing it to Markova.

Markova posted to Twitter to comment on her win, writing in two separate posts:

“I did it my way! New @nwa Women’s World Champion!”

“Does @nwa World Women’s Championship look good on me?”
