Nikkita Lyons Captures EVOLVE Women’s Title At EVOLVE Succession III

Nikkita Lyons is the new EVOLVE Women’s Champion, winning the title at EVOLVE Succession III which aired on Wednesday. Wednesday’s episode of EVOLVE was the third iteration on the Succession specials and saw Wendy Choo put her title on the line against Lyons.

The finish of the match saw Lyons attempt to hit Choo with the title belt while Choo and the ref were distracted by an outside altercation. Choo was able to dodge the belt shot and roll Lyons up for two. As the ref was taking the title out of the ring, Lyons grabbed her crystal and hit Choo with it, then hit a spinning kick to the face for the pinfall victory and the title.

You can see a clip from the finish below. Lyons’ win marks her first title reign in WWE and ends Choo’s reign at 70 days; she won the title on the episode of WWE EVOLVE that aired on March 20th. Lyons’ title win was taped on May 29th.
