Note On Axiom’s WWE Smackdown Appearance, Still Listed As On NXT

Axiom made his Smackdown debut on last week’s show, and a new report has a few notes on when his appearance was booked. The NXT star faced Dragon Lee on last Friday’s show, and PWInsider reports that the decision was made at the last minute, with Axiom being booked for the show the morning of the episode.

It is also noted that as of today, Axiom is still internally listed as an NXT star. He posted to Twitter on Saturday to thank Smackdown GM Nick Aldis as well as Lee for the match.
