A new report has a bit of detail on Darby Allin’s status following the announcement that he is not medically cleared on last night’s AEW Dynamite. As noted, Allin was announced as not cleared after he went to the hospital after last week’s Dynamite. He was noted as not cleared for travel or in-ring competition; an update on him is set for AEW Collision
It was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that, as expected, the injury happened in Allin’s match with Kevin Knight. Details on when the injury happened are not clear. Bryan Alvarez noted that Allin was released from the hospital and was able to travel home.
Alvarez and Dave Meltzer said that they did not know Allin’s status or whether he will be able to continue to compete in the Continental Classic. There is still not yet any word on the nature of the injury.
On behalf of 411, our best wishes to him for a quick and full recovery.
