Note on Joe Tessitore’s Broadcast Obligations Ahead of WWE Commentary Changes in 2026

As previously reported, WWE is changing up its broadcast teams early next year, with Michael Cole and Corey Graves moving back to Monday Night Raw. Meanwhile, Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett will be at the broadcast desk on Friday Night SmackDown. WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select had an update on Joe Tessitore’s other broadcast obligations.

According to the support, there might be commentary changes coming up because Joe Tessitore is finishing up his other NCAA college football obligations. Also, WWE sources indicate to WrestleVotes Radio that Tessitore will have other continued broadcast obligations, and WWE will adjust the teams when needed.

Joe Tessitore first joined the promotion as a play-by-play broadcaster in the summer of 2024. At the time of his signing, it was announced that he’d continue working with ABC and ESPN, where he does broadcast work for college football and Top Rank boxing.
