During the latest Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp answered a question on potential WWE NXT call-ups and who might be making it to the main roster next. Sapp noted that WWE NXT Superstar Jordynne Grace is a likely candidate as she’s already said to be making “main roster money.”

Grace reportedly signed a multi-year contract with WWE earlier this year. Jordynne Grace made her debut after signing with WWE at the Royal Rumble, competing in the women’s Rumble match, and she later joined the NXT roster at NXT Vengeance Day.

Additionally, Sapp also predicted that reigning NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne is also at the top of the list for potential NXT call-ups to the main roster, noting that her title run highlights why she should be called up soon. Jayne recently had a lengthy run with the NXT Women’s Title, holding the belt for 150 days. She lost it last month to Tatum Paxley at NXT Halloween Havoc.

During that time, Jayne also held the TNA Knockouts World Title, becoming a double-champion. Jayne signed with WWE in early 2021, joining the NXT roster later that year.

Lastly, Sapp speculated that he could see an NXT wrestler such as Wendy Choo getting called up for a “sink or swim” type of run on the main roster as well.

After bringing back the WWE Draft in 2023 and 2024, no draft was held this year. Instead, WWE used a “transfer window” to shift Superstars across the rosters. It’s unknown if WWE is planning another transfer window for NXT call-ups soon.

Jordynne Grace is currently embroiled in a feud with Kelani Jordan, who currently holds the TNA Knockouts World Title. Former WWE Superstar and current TNA wrestler Lei Ying Lee is also getting involved, vying to bring the Knockouts Title back to the TNA roster.
