Note On Reaction To Oba Femi Pushing Bronson Reed’s Foot Off Him On WWE Raw

Bronson Reed put his foot on the downed Oba Femi on WWE Raw and got it brushed off, a moment that reportedly brought a lot of discussion backstage. The moment happened during the Vision’s beatdown of Femi on Monday night’s show. When Femi was down in the ring, Reed put his foot on Femi’s back and Femi shoved it away.

The moment inspired a lot of discussion online regarding Femi was acting in kayfabe or not, and WrestleVotes on Fightful Select reports that per sources backstage, the moment was not written into the segment. The site added that there was “backstage chatter” about the moment, and that it caught some of them off guard, with some of them not liking the moment.

It’s not clear from the report whether it was Reed’s putting his foot on Femi, Femi brushing it off, or a combination of the two that said people didn’t like. Some fans online speculated that Femi was acting in character by refusing to accept Reed’s foot on his back as long as he was conscious, while others felt that he should have sold the beatdown.

The beatdown on Raw came after Reed returned to WWE at Sunday Night’s Main Event the night before and attacked Femi during the latter’s match with Bron Breakker.
