Veteran wrestler Paul Wight has reportedly signed a new deal with All Elite Wrestling.

According to Fightful Select, sources within AEW confirmed to Sean Ross Sapp that Wight’s contract came up earlier this year, but he is believed to have signed a new deal with the promotion.

However, the length of the contact is currently unknown.

Wight joined the Tony Khan-led company in February 2021 in the capacity of an in-ring talent and a commentator on AEW Dark: Elevation. He made his in-ring debut for the company at All Out 2021, defeating QT Marshall in a one-on-one contest.

Paul Wight last competed at the Jericho Cruise in 2024. He teamed up with Chris Jericho and Mike Bailey to take on Kyle Fletcher, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Lance Archer. His most recent appearance on AEW TV came during the Full Gear Tailgate Brawl last November, where he joined the commentary booth for a singles match between QT Marshall and Big Boom AJ.
