Penta is in the midst of a singles run in WWE, but he recently weighed in on a potential Lucha Bros reunion in WWE. Penta and Rey Fenix are currently on separate brands, with Feniz on Smackdown and Penta on Raw. The latter star spoke with the Battleground podcast recently and was asked about potentially teaming up with his brother under the WWE banner.
“I love my brother, I love Lucha Bros,” Penta said (per Fightful). “Now, I enjoy my singles career. I think my brother [does] too because I don’t know, maybe 15 years ago was the last time when we worked separate. After that, every single match, every single company, every single everything was together with the Lucha Brothers.”
He continued, “As a tag team, we’ve conquered everything around the world but now the most important thing is here in WWE, the best company in the universe. Imagine the best tag team in the universe together again in the best company in the universe.”
Penta most recently competed on the September 22nd episode of Raw, teaming with the War Raiders to defeat Grayson Waller and The New Day.
