As previously reported, WWE announced that John Cena’s last match will happen at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13. The event takes place at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. The rumor is that GUNTHER will be the final opponent of Cena, although that hasn’t been confirmed.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE expects that several political figures will be invited and will attend the event. One of them, however, will not by President Donald Trump. Trump has said that he will instead by at the Army vs. Navy football game at M&T Stadium in Baltimore.
Realistically, Trump could still attend if he chose, as that event takes place at 3 PM, long before WWE’s. However, the current belief is that while there will be a lot of people from the White House at the event, Trump is indecided. A lot of “major” poltiical figures have already said they’re coming.
Trump is, of course, a WWE Hall of Famer and famously held WrestleMania at his Atlantic City casino and participated in WWE storylines such as the Battle of the Billionaires with Vince McMahon and Bobby Lashley before getting into politics. He is the former star of The Apprentice.
WWE has a Premium Live Event in Crown Jewel set for Saturday, with WWE Monday Night RAW on Netflix on Monday.
