Tonight’s episode of AEW Collision: Maximum Carnage saw a title change, as Hangman Page and JetSpeed dethroned Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Powerhouse Hobbs as World Trios Champions.

The finish of the match saw Kevin Knight pin Powerhouse Hobbs following a Sunset Flip. The Opps’ reign as AEW World Trios Champions lasted 264 days (counting from the day the match took place, i.e., this past Wednesday) and had a total of six successful defenses.

This turned out to be the final match of Powerhouse Hobbs in All Elite Wrestling, as his contract was up Thursday at midnight, and he is reportedly set to join WWE. After Collision went off the air, the promotion removed Hobbs from its roster page, confirming the end of his five-year stint with the Tony Khan-led company.
