Queen Aminata Reveals AEW Extended Her Contract Another Year

In a new vlog on her YouTube channel, AEW wrestler Queen Aminata announced that AEW extended her contract through to February 2027. Aminata also noted that she can’t wait to get back in the ring once she recovers from her neck injury.

She says in the video, “And on top of all the great news and great feelings, AEW also extended my beautiful juicy contract until February 2027. Bro, what can I say at this point? I’m happy.” She added, “Even though my neck is messed up right now, I can’t wrestle. I am very happy and very very motivated. I can’t wait to go back.”

As previously reported, Queen Aminata suffered a neck injury last year that forced her to withdraw from the first-ever women’s Blood & Guts match along with the ROH Women’s Pure Title Tournament.

Last month, ROH Owner Tony Khan informed the media during a conference call that Aminata is still not cleared to complete due to the aftereffects of her injury.

Aminata first signed with AEW in February 2024 after beating Anna Jay on AEW Rampage. She first started appearing in AEW in 2021, regularly competing on Dynamite, Rampage, Collision, and ROH before she officially signed to the company.
