Randy Orton Says Ted DiBiase Jr. Owes Him $25,000

Randy Orton has clarified a comment he made about Ted DiBiase owing him a bunch of money, noting that it’s actually the younger DiBiase. Orton appeared at Culture Kings Las Vegas over WrestleMania weekend and did a Q&A with The Schmo. During the conversation, he was answering who he would put on the Mt. Rushmore of WWE fathers and sons when he made the claim. A fan shouted out “DiBiase,” to which Orton laughed and said, “Ted owes me 25 grand. Clip this s**t, put it out there. Maybe he’ll hear it and pay me.”

The quip made its way online and caught Ted DiBiase Sr.’s attention. The WWE Hall of Famer wrote on Twitter:

“Randy Orton, I don’t owe you a dime buddy! I think you’ve been hitting the head once too many times and don’t know what the hell you’re talking about”

Orton replied simple, “Jr does.”

Ted DiBiase Jr. was a stablemate of Orton and Cody Rhodes in Legacy. He attended WrestleMania 42 after being in town for WrestleCon. DiBiase Jr. was found not guilty in late March in his federal trial on charges on one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and to commit theft concerning programs receiving federal funds, six counts of wire fraud, two counts of theft concerning programs receiving federal funds and four counts of money laundering.
