Ratings Breakdown For This Week’s AEW Dynamite

As previously reported, this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite had its second-lowest viewership ever in its normal timeslot, with the ratings also down. It had 609,000 viewers, an 0.18 (231,000 viewers) in the key 18-49 demographic rating and 0.13 in 18-34.

Like everything else lately, the show faced competition from the Olympics, which drew 13,374,000 viewers and a 2.33 on NBC, as well as 1,273,000/0.38 on USA. Dynamite was #3 on cable in its first hour and #2 in its second hour. It was #8 for the day behind the Olympics and three shows on Fox News. Jesse Watters Live beat the first hour with 3,047,000/0.18.

Compared to last week, Dynamite was down 22.5% in viewers, down 33.4% in 18-49 and down 2.1% in 18-34. Compared to last year, it was down 31.9% in viewers, down 43.1% in 18-49 and down 32.1% in 18-34. It had 64,000 in men 18-34, 31,000 in women 18-34, 91,000 in men 35-49 and 45,000 in women 35-49.

Q5: Danielson & Strickland segment/Danielson & Jarrett segment/Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe & Tomohiro Ishii vs. Roderick Strong, RUSH and the Beast Mortos – 645,000 viewers (up 44,000), 257,000 in 18-49 (up 20,000)
Q6: End of Cassidy, Briscoe & Ishii vs. Strong, RUSH & Mortos/The Acclaimed promo/Mariah May and Toni Storm segment – 584,000 viewers (down 61,000), 221,000 in 18-49 (down 36,000)
